It took some trying at first to get the global to levitate. The key is to make sure to plug it in first. Then try to level it. Just be careful when you want to turn it off, once you do. The global will drop. My daughter is amazed that is levitated. This give a good geography lesson for my daughter. Showing her the counties and names.

I bought this for my boyfriends 30th birthday as a gift and it did not work properly in night mode. I am returning this and buying a new one. I really hope the new one works considering I had to pay another $95 plus tax.Update: my new order came in and it WORKS. I am happy that i bought it again despite it not working the first time :)

Amazing unit, not that hard to find the "sweet spot", once it's set, it stays. Very strong magnetism, if the power goes out the globe sticks to the base. Rotation is basically random but mostly clockwise, sometimes it stops and goes the other way then it will go back and forth. These observations have been made in dead air, taking notes now, maybe it's solar flares or something that make it go the way it goes. Great at night, I prefer the base light off, the illumination of the constellations is wonderful. I'm going to buy a few more for my friends and family that GET IT!!!

This is simply one of the coolest things out there....Functions exactly as described, and I was beyond impressed with the globes lighting options. Took me about 3 minutes of trying to get the globe just right to hover the first time, but from the 2nd time on I'm able to do it on the first try in under 10 seconds. Buying another now for my office.

Amazing. I love it so much. It’s take time to make a globe floating but then you will be happy.If globe rotate from the right to the left side it’s non stop. If from the left to the right it will stop or start to rotate different way.

This levitating 𝘎𝘭𝘰𝘣𝘦 is beautiful! I lay in bed at night and watch it gently spin. The lighting is mesmerizing. I would suggest before giving it as a gift you warn people about the magnetism. It can wipe out a computer or a cell phone, so it needs to sit in a place that is exclusively made to display the globe.

Bought this for my 6 year old grandson and he was amazed how the globe floats. It takes some practice to find the sweet spot but once you get used to it it becomes less frustrating. All in all I'm glad I got this for him.

I gave it to my friend for Christmas and hle was not disappointed.he opened it p and it worked just fine, andstill works to this day.Excellent product!
