Good God Ain't It Funky Now
Volume Five of Scott Parker's series deatiling the Recordings of Frank Zappa is again a must have for true Zappa fans. From 1974 - 1975 Frank assembled what is considered by many to be one of his finest touring units. During one of Frank's most creative periods, Frank hit the road with greats such as George Duke, Napi, Ruth Underwood, Bruce & Tom Fowler, and Chester Thompson to create & perform some of his funkiest, blues-based, jazzed-laced experimental music the world had never heard. Scott's attention to detail once again provides Zappa fanatics with fantastic deep insights into Frank's writting and performance styles. If you a true FZ fan, buy this book today. I can't wait for Volume Six.
