feeling chatty. please, have a sit and join me on the most deserved review I've ever written.I've been looking for weeks for a new dog bed that would be comfortable af for my little ones, big enough they can both enjoy (30 lb blue heeler rat terrier and 12 lb pomeranian yorkie), durable enough to withstand passive aggressive destruction while I'm at work, and that had a washable cover. WEEKS until I saw this bed come up, and I think I only found it through a 'related item' click. I get obnoxiously obsessive with trying to choose items. (put a bunch of maybes in cart, review description and customer reviews over and over, never stop thinking there's a better option I just haven't seen yet--if you're scrolling reviews on a dog bed maybe you can relate lolll).anywho, I was starting to think I wasn't going to find anything that hit all of my criteria, as usually nothing ever does, but then I saw this beauty. the reviews had me leaving but the bed itself had me returning again and again; I saw pictures where someone said they took the cover off and the bed was not waterproof and found mold, numerous complaints of broken zippers, a review with a title like dO nOt BuY tHiS bEd!, maybe by the moldy lady. the price also had me worried about making the wrong buy.but nah. this is the ONE. the holy grail of dog beds.it's BIG. like, had your dog's actual size in mind when they made it. I got the medium and it COMFORTABLY fits my medium sized boy AND lil chonkers if they want to snuggle together. this was mainly bought for the sake of my boy, as my girl is small enough to be comfortable anywhere and I kept seeing him struggle to get comfortable on his old bed. love that this has bolsters because it gives my boy the option to lay his head on them, big enough area inside bolsters that he doesn't HAVE to utilize them if he doesn't want. they are thoroughly pleased, as am I.to comment on what I, a chronic complainer, have experienced that contradicts the negative reviews I read.1. the zipper for the bolster. I'm really not sure how a seeming onslaught of people couldn't figure out the zipper. I'll let you know the trick... treat it like a zipper you don't want to break, cause lol if you handle anything like an idiot you're going to get bad results. just like ANY zipper, stop pulling on it and push the sides together before continuing. it boggled my mind that there were enough complaints to drive this company to make an instructional video. yeah, the bolster is snug inside the cover, like you WANT IT TO BE. loose bolster cover would mean your pups could potentially grab and gnaw. coming from a 28 year old with rheumatoid arthritis, this was laughably easy compared to my expectations based off the reviews.2. the moldy picture. I thought about this a long hard minute and I blame whoever let their dog bed get soaked in pee (likely multiple times, ahem) and never thought to wash it. mold doesn't happen immediately. again, use like an idiot and you get bad results. I'm pretty sure any waterproof cover will slowly begin to penetrate given enough time. if you, like me, wash something your dog has peed on and don't let it fester for months, you'll be fine.3. saw something about 'it's too hard!' okay, Goldilocks. calm down. when the bed was straight out of the package I got scared that review was right. 5 minutes later, it had decompressed and felt just like a memory foam bed. it's not meant to give easily and you. don't. want. it. to. what if your memory foam bed felt stupidly soft when you pushed it with your hand? nice hand feel cool, but would be horrible to lay on. I have hardwood floors. I KNELT on this bed trying to reach something in my corner (big bed lol) and my achy knees wept tears of joy. this is QUALITY. I couldn't feel the hardwood at all under my knees, entire body weight on bed and, full disclosure, I'm 200 lbs. I believe 'too hard review' also mentioned her dog not laying on it. mine didn't either when i put it down for them, but I think that's because they didn't understand this was for them. it feels like MY bed, a no-no, and not what they've been given before to lay on. I put a bone for each on the bed and they looked like they thought they were being naughty when they stepped on it. when on the bed they got praise and pets and love. then they understood this was theirs. they sniffed, scratched, and settled right in.4. the price (since people bad at zipping mentioned). considering the quality and the durability, this is built to last and the creators clearly cared to make this comfortable for your dogs. this is the only dog bed I've bought in 8 years of single dog motherhood that I didn't feel was a waste and would need replacing in a few months. this will last years. the cost divided by time used will be less than that of all other beds I have seen.I'm glad I kept coming back and went with my gut, basing this decision solely on the description.also, not sure if this was an accident or a bonus,THERE WAS AN EXTRA COVER IN MY PACKAGE.it's brown and the bottom has no-slip lil bumps. (got confused for a second thinking I was supposed to put a cover on a cover? realized it was just a completely separate one.)kudos for that, now I won't have to worry about something happening to the bed while the cover is in the wash since one will always be good to go.and dear company, if y'all are reading, I greatly appreciate that you made this. it's really nice to see a product designed to fit the needs of dogs and their owners. you considered all aspects when this was created. your description was honest, you made an effort, and you nailed it.

Where to start with this FANTASTIC bed? This bolster bed feels just like a temperpedic bed for humans. I purchased the large size for my 75lb Golden Retriever Huxley and he has more than enough room. So much room in fact that I believe another pup the same size could share with him (this is a hint for my husband). Huxley loves his bed. True to his Golden nature, he sleeps with us on our bed at night....but daytime napping is done exclusively on his "special" bed. And he adores rolling around and rubbing his face on the sherpa fleece. I did have a little hiccup with the removable cover upon the second washing. When I went to put the cover back on the bed, the zipper for the bolster section broke. It seems a few people have had this problem as well. I washed the cover by itself in cold water and air dryed as I was concerned heat might shrink the material. This bed has a snug fit with the cover, so it takes some time and patience to put it back together (having a second person help is ideal). When I realized the zipper could not be fixed I went to Better World Pets website and read that the bed has a 1 year warranty. I purchased the bed 6 months ago so I thought the cover might still be under warranty. I contacted Better World thru their site and stated what had happened and asked if the cover was covered under the warranty. Their website has replacement covers that are $50 for the Large size (which I think is VERY reasonable) but not within 6 months. In less than 2 hours the owner of the company had responded to me and offerred to replace the cover at no charge. Amazing!!!! He also informed me that they have improved the durability of the zippers....so if your concerned about purchasing the bed due to reviews regarding the zipper ...don't worry about it . You will not regret your purchase. I searched and searched for the best bed I could find for my fur baby. I was looking for something durable, comfortable and with a cover I could launder frequently. This bolster bed offerred all that I was looking for. If you have a large or giant breed dog and believe this is the perfect bed for them due to their propensity for hip and leg problems. This bed is super supportive. So much so that my 6'6" 240lb husband frequently sits on the bed and snuggles our pup and leaves no dent. The beds fluffs right back to original shape. Sending a big shout out to Better World Pets for their EXCELLENT customer service and AMAZING bolster bed. Treat your pup! It will be money well spent.

Hello Amazon Shoppers! My name is Hope and I'm a rescued dog. For many years I was stray and worked hard to keep my babies safe and fed. One day a kind man found us in a junk yard and took us to a rescue. I was very, very thin but the rescue took care of me and my babies and placed me with a foster mom. My foster mom told me the people that came to meet me wanted to give me a forever home! I was so joyous and excited. My foster mom showed me a photo of the new dog bed that my kind-hearted forever family bought for me. It was the most beautiful bed I had ever seen. When my forever family took me home I saw the bed and immediately crawled into it. I wept tears of gratitude. Because I was so thin and a little older my bones are kind of tender and sore. However, this bed has such thick foam it was like floating in a cloud. The bolster around the bed gave me such a comfortable place to lay my head. I put my head on the bolster and watch all the activities that my forever family engages in. When I am tired, the bed is just the right size for me to sleep in. I can curl up in the bed or stretch out in it. Sometimes I fall asleep with my head still on the bolster, the bed is that comfortable. I heard my forever family talking about how glad they were they picked this bed. The can wash the cover to keep it clean and smelling good for me, and it has such a nice soft color it looks great in the living room, dining room or bedroom. My forever family and me really, really love this bed. My family gave it a five star rating, I would give it a 5 paw rating. If you are looking for a dog bed for any reason, please buy this one.

I read pretty much all reviews on a ton of beds, spent weeks picking out what looked and seemed the best. The beds material is super durable , zippers look pretty good and there was a problem with the foam not expanding . I contacted the company, got an immediate response, and a replacement bed is already being shipped .Like most of us I’ve dealt with many different companies and I can assure you that the customer support at better world pets is something for other companies to aspire to.Fast, friendly, helpful. Freaking amazing .Honestly, I read another review where a women recieved her bed and decided it was to large, which they are amazing sizes, and she wanted to exchange for a smaller size ...the company had her donate it to a pet shelter instead of sending back.Just awesome !

Really quite a hard time to bed. Siding has to be inserted but seemed almost too large for the bed itself. Took 2 people to insert it.I have arthritis in my hands and having to put the roll in the bed was impossible to do aloneThey advertise it as 36" across. Mine is 34-1/2". Maybe it'll stretch over timeSleeping area is only 25" x 22". Borderline too small for a 60lb dogMattress is only 4" and not 5" as advertised. But again, I hope that it may change as the bed relaxesSeems sturdy enough. And delivery was quite quick considering it comes from the States.

I paid $40 for this bed and it is by far (very far) the best bang for your buck dog bed I have ever gotten. Mine came with two covers that are a reasonably thick canvas type material with a soft bed top. The bed itself requires a few days to take shape and is reasonably firm and a substantial thickness. I would recommend caution when zipping in the bolster on the top section as it's a tight fit and the potential is there to break a zipper but if you take your time it goes in nicely and looks great. Again, for 40 dollars I haven't found anything remotely close to this in terms of quality.

My dog is 15kg and its a perfect fit. Super comfortable and took me 5min to assemble. Love everything about it. ( I didnt wash it yet so cant comment about that) So far so good with the zippers.

My pup loves this bed. It is hard to get together when it first arrives. I ripped mine by accident trying to fit the cushion inside.
