Nice looking handles that don't lock very well
Once I'd worked out the difference between "privacy" and "bathroom" locks (which was confused by the fact I actually wanted the handles for a bathroom), I chose this set to replace an existing pair of handles whose locking spindle had been lost. The handles are a good fit, look very nice and have a smooth, robust action. Unfortunately the locking spindle doesn't actually lock the handle very well. You can feel it engaging with the catch, but applying more than very slight pressure to the handle pops the lock out of the way allowing the door to be opened. Fortunately for us the handles were for a guest bedroom en-suite, so it's not *really* essential that the lock is secure, but if I were choosing handles for a bathroom that actually needed to be locked, I'd go for the kind with a separate deadbolt (i.e. the one normally referred to as a "bathroom lock"). A bit more work to fit, because you need to drill separate holes for the latch and the bolt, but at least it would stay locked.

Door handles
Lovely set of handles however would be good if they came with different lengths of bars and it is way to big for my door so having to get it cut to size

Not bad
Not bad. Bought fireplace the handles throughout my house. The bathroom ones dont fully line up with the existing fittings which is a pain, but I will persevere as wife likes them. made well and look nice otherwise.

Poor quality control as handle not fit for purpose.
Very disappointed in the quality control of this product as when I came to fit the locking mechanism into the handle i found that the metal plate fitted to the inside of the handle would not go past the locking mechanism even when in the unlocked position so if I had assembled the complete handle on the door and then pulled it shut behind me I would not have been able to turn the handle to open the door !!!!! Contacted Amazon who sorted out the return of the item as when I tried to do an automated return of the product the system wanted to deduct the cost from the refund for returning the item even though it was defective. I have given the product a 2 star rating as it looks good so if the seller can get the problem of the locking mechanism sorted out then it should get a 4 or even a 5 star rating. One thing further to note is that if the handle can be fitted to a door you may well have to cut the shaft that ome is to two parts of the locking mechanism together as it seems to be made for a door that is much much thicker than the average internal door in a house.

Not fit for purpose.
I made the mistake of looking at the good reviews and not the bad reviews for this product, which include the problem I encountered: The rod for the lock needs to be 6cm (60mm) for a standard door, for some reason they are making this rod 8cm (80mm) long, so it juts out of the door almost a full inch. Not only is this bad for PR, and makes the product not fit for purpose, it's also a waste of good metal as they could reduce the component cost by 33%.The only solution is to hack 2cm off the rod, if you have the tools, or return the products. Both options are an unnecessary hassle.Additionally, it seems, the holes for the lock are not aligned for the two halves of the handle/lock frame, so even if you have a rod of the right length it won't fit become the cutout on one side in lower than the other. This appears to be a case of a known manufacturing fault being ignored - or of factory rejects knowingly being sold as "premium" products. Either way, one to pass on.(I gave it 1 star on the basis there is no option for zero stars).
