This is great stuff I already use the facial one & am over the moon with that. This goes on smoothly no streaks or patches. Only thing is I'd like it to stay on a bit longer I shower every morning & find I do loose a bit of the tan I dont always have time to apply it after every shower so that's a bit of a pain. Other than that it's well worth buying.

Really orange fake tan. Does not look natural at all. Takes ages to dry too.

I had read about this product and wanted to try it out for myself. It took a couple of applications (3 in total for me) to get a visible glow, but the outcome was worth it. The balm leaves a lovely natural glow - not patchy or orange or like other self-tanners on the market. It has lasted on my skin after many showers and has not turned patchy. Minus a star for the balm texture - it crumbles in your hand on application and small pieces fall away, so you really have to try and melt/mix it before applying directly to the skin. Would re-purchase.

I've decided to write my first ever review so I can sing this product's praises. It's by far the best self tanning product I've ever used- better than Vita Liberata, St Tropez and the countless others I've tried. I have very fair skin so a little goes a bit further than it might for those with darker skin, but you can control how tan you want to look based on the amount you put on. I have never had a streaky tan with this- it's super easy to apply. I don't even use a glove, I just rub it on and wash my hands with soap and scrub a little with a washcloth to make sure it's off my palms. I believe they may have a new formula as the most recent one didn't have instructions to refrigerate it, I just stir it up occasionally with the provided plastic scoop. You do get a few lumps as it is a semi-firm oil (just imagine regular coconut oil) but I haven't had the experience of the previous reviewer and I've bought this about a dozen times over the last year and a half. Also, it smells great.One thing to keep in mind is that it is an oil-based product (obviously). Even though I don't find it rubs off if I put clothes over it, nor does it darken my sheets any more than any other self-tanner I've used, like with any body oil it does take long to feel dry. If I want to put on a lot at once I put it on an hour or so before bed just in case. For a gradual tan I rub it on after my morning shower and wait as long as possible to get dressed for work. To be fair, this is pretty much what I do with all self tanners. If you're on the fence, definitely give it a try!

Had to wait forever for this to arrive. Box was stained but container still had the seal under the lid. My first impression was this does not smell like coconut what-so-ever and has a weird constancy. Tried it anyway because of the raving reviews. Used it for 3 days straight, didn't use it on day 4 because I saw no difference. I am writing this on the fifth day and still no difference in skin tone. Not sure what happened, but I didn't receive the same product everyone is so impressed with. Very disappointed!!!!!!!

I usually use the James read coconut oil pump self tanner. This self tanner provides a little color which is great for me as I am very fair and not looking for a deep dark tan. It doesn't streak at all, the only area that will give it away is your feet, it really latches on to the dry skin there. I get around this by applying lotion to my feet first. As far as application goes, if its the perfect temperature then it's easy to use, not too melty and not too firm. But on my warm vacation the consistency was chunky liquid. If you've ever put pure coconut oil on your skin then you will know what to expect. but still I found it manageable, I applied a small amount with my bare hands, massage out in thoroughly and any coconut oil bits melted into my skin with a little extra massage. If I went a little heavy on the application then I would go over it with my famous dave's tanning mitt. You will definitely be hydrated and glowy but it didn't transfer to my white sheets or my clothing. Over all I liked this tanner but it's true that it isn't the most user friendly.
