OsterProfessional 76550-100 Octane Cordless Clipper + 1 Year Extended Warranty, Unisex Adult

I've been cutting my own hair for over two decades, and my cut is a simple zero all around. My starter was a basic Wahl from Walmart and then transitioned to an Oster Fast Feeder. Time took a toll on my Oster after several moves, and I was in the market for a new clipper. After a few days of research, I had to decide between the Oster Octane or the Andis ZR II. I went with the brand that has suited me well for at least a decade, and the results were night and day.I expected the experience of cutting my hair to be marginally better because it was cordless, but I was way off. The clippers cut through hair with ease and evenly. I tend to be OCD with cutting my hair because uneven hair is very apparent when it is a single length around. The typical time to cut my hair is roughly 30 mins, but I was ranging around 18 mins with the new clippers. Additionally, the ergonomics and balanced weight makes it easy/comfortable to hold.I can't speak too much on the battery, but most users say it has great battery life.My only complaint is that the blade gets a little warm, but I am not using it long enough to see it get hot. I can see it possibly being an issue for professional barbers. This problem isn't solely tied to this trimmer and is attributed to metal blades. Some owners recommend getting ceramic detachable blades.All-in-all, I highly recommend the Oster Octane and was thoroughly surprised at how much of a difference it was from my Oster Fast Feeder.

I will never buy a different pair again! These are so light and easy to use. I cut men’s hair everyday and it has been a life changer! It cuts hair so smoothly.

Only had the Clippers for 2 weeks , but they have been awesome so far , they are balanced and great ergonomic, great power, a little on the loud side, battery is great so far , very impress with the power. Glad I made the purchase,,,I was debating between the oster and the andis supera II.. only knock if battery dies and if you don't get extra battery you S O L .... there is no ac cord to keep u going , I must of overlooked this but had a problem so far.

I am a Barber and I use these 3 days a week. They work very well. I like how easy it is to just sit them back on the charger base when I switch to a different clipper. I've been using them for awhile now and I haven't had any issues with the battery. I can do 20 cuts or more in a day with no problems. When I first got them I noticed how much lighter they are and it took a day or two to get used to it and the fact that it doesn't have a cord but, now its like I have been using them always! They are much quieter also! My only complaint is they it doesn't stand up on the counter, you have to lay them down. I have tried to stand them up when im not paying attention and they have fallen over and hit the counter. My mistake though. I knew they don't stand on there own. Its just something I do when im slammed and I have a lot of distractions. I would definitely recommend this clipper if you can afford it and you hate having to work around cords. Especially for females also because they are lighter in weight. I've been cutting hair for 25 years and I now have shoulder problems from holding my arms up for so many years. I have switched to all cordless clippers now and they are all lighter in weight and when I have tried out the old corded clippers, then I noticed how heavy they are. Its something I never really noticed before I got the new cordless clippers. Technology is great!

I love my new hair clippers, I was very doubtful at first and now I love it! I don’t have to worry about the cords and I like that it’s lightweight and strong. Worth the investment to have at my hair studio!
