Update after 4 Weeks of usageI have noticed early that the device is only cooling down the room by 1 degree per hour. Today I have calculated with an online calculator that my cooling power need for my 25sqm appartment is 12.000 BTU. So the device I bought, the Suntec Impuls 2.0 eco with 7000 BTU is undersized for the task of cooling down my room.So please calculate what cooling power you need and don't rely on the figures in the advertisment. The manual also says that depending on the surroundings, the cooling power "can be clearly UNDERscored under certain circumstances".The Pricetag of the machine is quite fair 200-250 (unless in the summer season) considering the factory price in China 100-200 (at min. order of 612 Units).---------------------------I bought this Climate Device „Suntec Impuls 2.0 Eco R290” at the beginning of summer. My first impression is that it’s getting cool but not as strong as I had anticipated. My 25 sqm (east facing) Apartment is cooled down by 1 degree C per hour. The hot Walls and furniture emit still heat. After 2 hours is feels 5 degree cooler that the 2 degree with the thermometer says. The value from the manufacturer 25m2 or 60 m3 are for average rooms. At south facing rooms, attic apartment, when persons or EDP are present, the Cooling Power “can be clearly UNDERscored under certain circumstances” according to the manual.If you see it as a air dehumidifier with a cooling function, you will not regret the buy. The device which is officially 65db loud, is less noisy as anticipated. I would not sleep when the device is on but working in the next room is no problem. My neighbor can’t hear it and the people on the street don’t notice the device as they do not see it due to my insect net.I originally wanted to buy the more powerful “Impulse 2.6 Eco” but I found no trader shipping it to my destination. I would recommend to buy air conditioners before the hot summer days arrive.A recommended attachment is a window air seal to not let the hot exhaust or hot outside air get in your room.This 200 Pound class device is not at all as efficient or effective like a real air conditioner for 2000 Pound, commonly used in southern countries. The advantage of this device is that is does not need changes to the building structures, which is important if you do not live in your own house. The device stands on rolls and can be moved to other rooms or be lend to your neighbor if needed. As a anti vibration mat, I use the Styrofoam base used on the shipment. I personally would pay 40 Pounds more if the device would be 10 db more silent. In all I am satisfied with this device.

installed today and uses around 800w which is good for cooling capacity, compressor is quiet but the fan even on low is way above the noise levels quoted on high it’s more like 77db than the 63 quoted. based on fan noise don’t use for bedrooms but ok for daytime use. good mounting kit and easy to install. could do with auto sweep on airflow at this price but otherwise ok. 7000 btu sóOnly enough for small non south facing rooms otherwise takes a long time toCool. But overall way way mouser than it should be

The box came damaged, there are broken pieces of plastic in the box I am not sure where from and the plug is an awful very cheaply done foreign conversion (see pic). This is a very cheaply made, poor quality product. I have never returned anything so fast. Save yourself some hassle and spend a bit more money.

Bought this to replace an old unit we have had for the last 11 years. The Suntec is smaller than the previous one but appears to be more efficient and less noisy.The price made it very affordable. Delivery was estimated at 7 to 10 working days, it was with us in 4, much appreciated as it arrived just as the temperature hit 90°f

Absolutely no negative issues with this aircon don't understand how some of the pictures are showing different plug fittings yes it's noisy it's aircon you don't get quite unit's unless it's turned off.If you are looking for your standard room aircon unit then this is excellent, delliver was 2 days earlier than expected and very pleased with the unit.
