Compared to other wellies I've owned, these Wellington Boots are a definite upgrade in terms of both style and functionality. This pair of waterproof wellington boots arrived in a plastic bag and had tissue paper protecting the surface. The boots are black in colour and have a logo with the word ‘BIRROT’ on the front of the boots with a round toe profile. I ordered these in a size 9 for my partner who has size 9 feet and they fit him well, although he stated they would slightly better with thicker socks. The boots are ideal for using whilst gardening and although they are aimed towards men, they are equally suited for women as well.The wellington boots are created in a one piece and are 100% waterproof. The soles have a good amount of non-slip grip which isn’t too deep meaning that it doesn’t collect mud when in the garden. The PVC outer material feels durable and makes the waterproof nature makes it very simple to clean them down with water after use. The boots also have a thin fabric lining; however, this doesn’t offer much cushioning so I would suggest an insole or a thick pair of socks, especially during the colder days as these boots definitely don’t keep your feet warm. They are easy to slip on with the wide opening and you can slip them off with your heels as well (ideal if they are muddy). They are great for digging and raking in muddier conditions.They are lightweight on your feet and relatively comfortable. However, my partner said he wasn’t sure he would be comfortable walking long distances in these as they have the potential to rub. For pottering around in the garden, they are perfect. Priced at £29.99 (with an additional 10% off voucher valid until the 6th November 2024) at the time of reviewing, these wellington boots are a nice gardening addition during the autumn and winter months, and the sizing is good. They are a functional boot and although they won't win any fashion awards with the word ‘BIRROT’ on the front, they are highly practical.

The GBWPRBMW Wellington Boots arrive wrapped in and filled with a load of non-recyclable plastic👎.Wellington boots should be designed to provide reliable protection and comfort in wet and muddy conditions, and these are OK from this aspect. They slip on relatively easy. I have narrow feet and calves and they are a bit roomy - but this is OK as I will use them in winter with thicker socks. I think that they are about ½ a size too large. Normally I am a 9 and I ordered a 9 but now with this brand I think an 8.5 would be a better fit. The outer material is PVC - the smell is light but not that pleasant. They are comfortable to walk in. They are half calf size - so not full size for a lot of water but fine for most jobs. The sole is relatively non-slip and they are certainly waterproof. They are made from what appears to be a durable material. There is reinforcement around the toe and heal which should increase the durability. There is a a cushioned insole which increases comfort. The fit at the top is a little open so may not be great in heavy rain.At £30.00 the price point is reasonable.Overall these are basic wellies which are well priced and have everything needed for effective waterproof protection, making them a worthwhile investment for anyone needing reliable footwear for wet and muddy conditions.

I wear size 8 shoes. As the ordering options were listed in UK whole sizes, I ordered size 8 - simple? No, when the wellington boots arrived, they were continental size 43. Without exception a 43 is accepted as being a UK 9 and 42 a size 8. I then checked the manufacturer's size guide. Here 42 is a 7.5; 43 an 8. It gets worse: a 45 is listed as a size 9. In the UK, 45 is usually an 11, sometimes 10.5.The boots themselves are well made and of a reasonable quality. For the price I would have expected them to have had more sturdy soles and thicker material throughout. The leg height is interesting. The boots are far too short to be used in anything but very shallow water. They are also too short for walking in long grass. I got these for my daughter who wears a size 9 and these are just a little big, so her heel lifts up while walking - it is not a deal breaker, but a half size down would probably have been a better fit.Apart from that, these are well-made and allow her to work outside, comfortably and safely, without getting her feet wet or messing up her sneakers. That is the really good thing about rain boots - you can just wash the muck off them. Pretty standard rain boots. They are true to Mens size and are fairly lightweight. They are good, workhorse boots for backyard, fishing, or fieldwork. However, they're not so comfortable that I'd want to walk around all day in them.

Excellent slip on boots for rain or mud! A pretty comfortable sole for a slip on. Waterproof and a pretty good outer sole to prevent skids in the mud. They would work for snow as well.

These are very nice, comfortable boots, but there's just one problem I have. These slip-on nice and easy, and I got them to use when fishing with rain gear on. The only negative is that the opening of the boots are not comfortable against the skin of your calf. When you walk around, if you are wearing shorts, or don't have something to tuck in, or have big socks on, it becomes uncomfortable rather quickly when moving around a lot. I discovered this right after I got them and slipped them on. I just had ankle socks on at the time, and short pants. If you wore longer, heavy socks, it's not bad at all, but then, depending on the air temperature, it could get very warm. I wish the openings had some kind of comfort padding around the perimeter. That would make them great. As they are, I still gave them four stars and would recommend them, just so long as you are aware of this potential comfort issue. I hope this has been helpful.
