This is perfect for my survival kit. Compact and works great. Great value.

Just signed our 10 year old up for boy scouts. This pack has everything he needs for the random hike or camping weekend. Impressed with the quality of the items, and the value of everything included. Such a comprehensive kit, i may have to get another one.

There are a ton of items in this emergency kit, and some require batteries so I would go through and unpack/unwrap all the items to install batteries as well as familiarize yourself with the items in the kit. You might also consider printing a list so you can know what tools you have at your disposal.The axe feels pretty heavy, while the shovel does not. The flashlight & lantern are kind of cheap, but will work fine. The bag itself feels pretty sturdy. You might consider replacing various elements with higher quality items, or even just adding a lighter (there are two manual fire starters). A lot is jammed in to this bag , so I'm not sure you will be able to add much more to it, though.

So far from testing out the product, they are well made. I had no issue putting the stuff together, and its pretty nice that I can put all this inside small bag with more room to fit more gear. I got it with a coupon so it makes the value more worth it with how much stuff is included. Keep in mind that you need to get your own batteries for the camp light and flashlight cos its not included. The paracord seems quite thin as well but will work for light work stuff but the rest looks good quality. Definitely ready for most outdoorsy uses.

Bought for my son to keep in his car when he goes off to college. I am amazed at how much fits in this compact crossbody bag. Good value for the money.
