The Secret of the Bethlehem Shepherds

Perfect book for the season!

I really liked this very short and readable book. It provided insight as to the importance of the shepherds using Biblical accounts and bedouin customs, and historical research. He weaves and plausible explanation and fully admits it's conjecture but it makes sense.

While not a long book, there is so much useful information here about the infant narratives found in the Bible. Gives good evidence that what recorded is facts and not myths.

This book is an inspiring and great read for those interested in the story behind the Christmas story and the factual basis for it.
