Good quality battery and great customer service.
I have several aftermarket batteries for not my dewalt. They work well and charge without issues. Batteries come packaged well too. This battery came where it wouldn’t charge at all. I requested a replacement battery and they sent it without question. I have over 10 batteries from this brand and finally received a bad one but they took care of it.Overall I am very pleased and will continue to order from this place/brand batteries.

Compatible with my DeWalt 20v tools
This aftermarket battery works great with all of my DeWalt 20v MAX tools. Battery life appears to be on par with the OEM batteries. This appears to be a great alternative to the OEM batteries and at only about 1/3 the cost of the OEM.I am very happy with this product. Now, if they would only make these with yellow labels instead of red . . .

Great alternative
Charged up fast. Lasted just as long as any other name brand battery that I have. It is a good bang for your buck. Dont leave it on the charger once fully charged.

Solid value
Compared to other 6 amp replacement batteries for DeWalt 20V this unit from seller Amityke is priced less than half the price of the DeWalt-OEM, and is lower than most of the other single-pack non-OEM offerings. It inserts and extracts easily from DeWalt tools and chargers, and feels solid when connected. The battery charges and delivers power as expected, essentially no different than DeWalt's.I like the fact that Amityke did not try to add non-essential features like USB charging ports which are a bad idea in my opinion.I wish the battery had the DeWalt yellow color on its sides to visually help with a collection of multi-vendor tools. It has red on the battery lock and fuel gauge. Red is for Milwaukee, not DeWalt.I feel confident using this Amityke battery.

When they don't work out of the box
I took this lithium battery fromt he box and put it on the charger, and the light didn't even come on. Nothing happened. Totally dead. Fortunately, I know what that means. The chargers won't recognize the battery unless there is at least a tiny bit of charge in it. In other words - if the battery is 100% discharged, you can't get it to charge up.BUT... you can fix that if you have another battery just like it. Take two little pieces of wire and connect the two batteries - plus to plus and minus to minus. It only takes 15 seconds or so. That will put enough of a spark into the new battery for the charger to see it. That's what I had to do with this one. That's very sloppy quality control by the factory. To me it suggests that they know how to copy a battery design, but don't know anything about the industry to know that you have to put some charge into the battery before you ship it.Does it work? Yes. Does it last as long as my OEM 6AH batteries? No. I gave it mediocre ratings for those two reasons.

Works Great
I have been using this for a couple weeks in my assortment of DeWalt tools. To date, it has worked great.=== The Good Stuff ===* It fits well in all my tools and chargers, and stays put when locked into a tool.* Charging time seems about the same as other batteries. To be honest, I have enough batteries that I don't pay close attention to how long to charge one, but it wasn't obviously different from any other battery.* This battery seem to last about as long as I'd expect. My worklights are usually the only tools I use that run through a battery in less than a day, and this battery worked about the same time as other batteries of a similar size. If there is a difference between this and my DeWalt batteries, it wasn't enough to really notice.=== The Not-So-Good Stuff ===* None, at least so far.=== Summary ===I have a selection of batteries for my DeWalt arsenal, and these seem to fit right in. I didn't do any detailed measurements of charge or discharge time, but there were no obvious differences between this battery and any other battery of a similar size.

Won't charge on dewalt charger
This battery seems to do well. Works with oem or aftermarket chargers. For the price, I think that it is a fair deal .Give it a shot . It's a lot cheaper than the oem equivalent. I can almost guarantee at this price the 18650 batterys are off brand and not as high of a quality.* update 10/10/24 the battery when left in a tool completely drained to the point where the charger won't charge the battery. Something is wrong with the b.m.s on this pack i tried to equalize it with another pack so it would.charge but no dice. So i took it apart and the cells are not even close to being equal in charge levels which is a b.m.s malfunction This guys getting scrapped. I'd avoid this one and look somewhere else.

Excellent
This battery(20v6ah) has lasted longer than the original Dewalt battery (20v5ah) by a noticeable amount. It has the battery level display on the back just like the Dewalt as well, which is crucial for me because I never know which battery is in what state. For the price, basically being able to buy 2 of these to the 1 of the Dewalt OEM, I would go with these all day long. I always thought the OEM batteries were way overpriced anyway. It’s not revolutionary technology, and Lithium is pretty inexpensive these days so paying too dollar just to see the name brand is crazy to me if batteries like this can compete, or even better.
