I already have a Zuyiyi pressure washer and the Mak-ita batteries so it's a no brainer when offered the chance to try this orbital sander out. It works well and comes with enough pads for a good amount of projects. Materials and construction are good. Got some heft to it, but has a small footprint so tucks away on the tool shelf nicely. Great value for the price! Highly recommend!

I admire the aftermarket for providing us with tools that come at fractions of the cost of the makes they tend to imitate. The phrase "imitation is the finest form of flattery" can be true as long as the quality is decent. This sander felt very well put-together right out of the box, and kudos for even getting the color palette right as well. Ergonomics are good, and the battery - original LXT's and even the aftermarkets of those also fit tight, and well to the tool. I use 6aH batteries mostly so it adds a little weight, but in a sander, that's not a bad thing since you're pushing and steering this most of the time. Noise isn't terrible either. Great tool, and if it lasts a few years, is well worth the asking price.

I've never had a cordless sander before. Now that I do I am never going back. As a retired carpenter, I have many sanders of different types, but all corded. This ZUYIYI 5 Inch Cordless Random Orbital Sander is going to get the most use. So nice not having to work around a cord. Does a really good job too. Very pleased and can recommend.

This is a good random orbital sander that uses Makita 18V batteries. WIth a large collection of Makita tools and 18V batteries this is a good addition to the collection. I also have the Makita 18V 5" Random Orbit Sander that is pretty much the same type of sander as this one.I like that this ZUYIYI cordless sander has the additional handle that can be easily attached/removed, as it provides a nice grip for single handed operation in awkward positions, or as an additional grip with both hands using it. I don’t really like the small dust bag that it comes with as it seems to come off fairly easily, and is smaller than the Makita dust bag. The dust bag on this is much nicer on the Makita. It's a bit bigger and does not easily come off, like the ZUYIYI that has a flimsy sewn piece of cloth that comes off easy.When I first inserted a battery it kind of got stuck…I recognized that the little rubber bumpers at the front end of the battery slide section had come loose, restricting the battery from freely sliding. They don’t seem to be necessary, but I was able to reseat them in the groves and the batteries seem to slide in and out now just fine.Overall, this is a good random orbital sander that is priced lower than the Makita version, and gets the job done, though the dust collection is sub par.

Easy to use, cordless is definitely the way to go with a sander. Durable and very nice quality.
