Has AI that allows one user can use it when a second user is not able to play
I bought this for my 7 year old son. We’ve played tic tac toe on paper and when I saw this I thought he’d love. It truly did impress him. I like that it has adjustable difficulty levels and adjusts difficulty based on settings that can be increased with comfort level. I was a bit surprised to see how small it is, but after seeing him handling it, I’m real happy with the size. It takes just one AA batter which makes it nice to give as a gift to someone without immediate access to a battery. I’m truly pleased with this purchase and highly recommend.

fun for a hot minute
My grandson was really excited to get this electronic tic tac toe game because he enjoys playing tic tac toe with pen and paper (really any writing utensil....) If this was like the traditional tic tac tow - where you put x's and o's down until it's a draw or someone gets three in a row - he would probably enjoy it more. Only playing 3 x's or o's at a time changes the game and strategy and it is a bold move to change up a well known game like that but it's just not the same. And the sensors are sometimes not as sensitive as they could be - you have to push pretty hard sometimes. It's good to prevent accidental moves but it can be frustrating.

Fun, but not a traditional tic-tac-toe game
I got this for my kid since he really loves tic-tac-toe. I was hoping to get him something he could play when my wife and I are not available or willing to play with him. I was hoping this would fit the bill, but unfortunately it really doesn't. While it is technically tic-tac-toe-ish, and while it does have three games included, none of them are the traditional tic-tac-toe game that ove so much. This version only allows you to place three X's or three O's on the screen at a time. If you wish to make a fourth move, one of the previously placed X's or O's gets moved from its current spot and placed in the new chosen spot, thus freeing up the spot it had been previously occupying. While I think this is an interesting twist and it actually can be fun, this isn't what we were looking for. It also makes it pretty difficult for X to win, though it is definitely possible. The three versions include a single player version of the game just described, a two-player version of the game just described, and a memory game which is also limited to three characters on the screen at any given time. I don't dislike this thing, but this is not what I was looking for, and I'm a little disappointed that it does not contain a classic tic tac toe game even though it says tic tac toe the product name. While I did read the product description, this aspect didn't really dawn on me until I got the unit and started playing with it. My kid still likes it even though he did admit he would prefer a traditional tic-tac-toe game. I'm still deciding whether or not to return it. Again, it's not a bad game, but if you're wanting to play tic-tac-toe, you'll be playinga slightly different version with this unit.

Works great
I saw someone else review this item saying the screen wasn't sensitive enough. I can report that's not the case for me. It works well and my kids are able to press the buttons without any issues. So why get this game when you could theoretically just use paper and pencil? It's the fact that the oldest shapes you put on the board start to fade so you don't get into situations where the game is a stalemate. This allows you to play until someone wins. What an awesome concept. Anyway, the toy works great and I have no issues with it. I highly recommend it!

Great Fun!
This tic tac toe game will keep you busy. Playing against the game console was a struggle at first, but we got much better at it after losing many times. The best part of this game is being able to play tic tac toe without worrying about running out of paper to write on, and pens to write with. This console allows you to keep score quickly, and restart the next game quickly. I wish the touch screen was a little more receptive. There is a way you can press it to get it to respond but if you’re at the wrong angle, you may have to press several times for a response. The game is suitable for the young and old. Lots of fun!

Would have been a great toy for kids or someone with dementia but ...
The concept is great: A handheld toy for playing tic-ta-toe and a memory sequence game for my brother with dimentia. But, the annoyance is that the touch sensitive screen is not sensitive and often touches are not recognized. It has become a toy of frustration.

Was fun, till the corners stopped responding.
Honestly, when we first opened this the kids loved it and it was being fought over and played with every day all day. Then after about 3 days, I noticed that when I went to play it (I enjoy it too) that the corners just wouldn't respond anymore.Super weird that after only 3 days of owning this several different sections on the "screen" would just completely not respond. The kids noticed it too and now they don't really play with it anymore since it's annoying when the place they want to go doesn't work.Overall I really liked this at first, but the fact it stopped working after 3 days just makes me not really want to recommend it to anyone, so I give it like a 4/10, don't really recommend unless the design quality improves.

Works Great
Perfect for keeping kids busy. I love the different features and how kids can play by themselves. It a little bit of tech to keep them interested but not enough to be an ipad. It is small enough to take places but big enough to see and for little hands to operate. I love the dino look and how fun it is. I played several ounds myself before giving it to my nephew. Very impressed with the quality.
