This is hard to rate as "spicy" is very subjective. To my brother, who eats insanely spicy food, this is practically nothing and was basically equal to paprika. To me, who always requests spice level 0, this had some kick even with a tiny bit. It's a very fine powder and very vibrant red that's a pretty color. It seems really fresh and the bottle is a good size. I wish it was a glass bottle instead of plastic though.

I am pregnant and craved for kimchi—so not really looking for very spicy chili powder (gochugaru). I wanted a mild and flavorful one. Good quality korean chilli pepper powder. A bit spicier than regular chilli powder that you get in US, but not spicier than jalapeño. Perfect for cooking korean soups. Fresh and tasty.
