12 Pack Puppy Whelping Collars for Litter, Tiny Newborn Kitten ID Bands in 12 Assorted Colors

I actually purchased these for my son who likes to wear bracelets. These were hopeful alternatives for the wristbands he receives at kids outings/fairs and carnivals, etc. and would wear literally until they fall off. He loves wristbands because they really stay on him, but I needed something removable that I could wash because the carnival wristbands would get so dirty and smelly and other than cutting them off, they can't be removed.These were a great idea but didn't work well for us as they're very scratchy and too sticky so if he'd wear more than one, they'll stick together. I wish they would've worked. Colors are great. But I guess these best for puppies n kittens, who they were really intended for, not lil boys.

These collars cut deep wounds in our lab pups.I would NOT get them.They were not too tight, we checked them several times a day but they ripped into their flesh with the puppies crawling around one another and striving to get to Mamas teets.

Used to "color code" 3 pups......overnight 2 had managed to get collar off.......not over their heads...they weresecure. The "velcro" or whatever it is just doesn't hold well.

For the value they were great. We used them to distinguish the new puppies. I cut the first set down to size and slightly overlapped the velcro edges. The pups quickly outgrew them. I purchased a second set and totally overlapped the collars when I wrapped them around their necks. I was a little concerned about possible strangulation but after a few weeks they figured out how to remove them so no worries.

Since most the pups look the same(in the beginning) these were a life saver to keep track of which pup goes to what forever home. They are easy to adjust as the pups grow.

My Lab had a litter of 10 puppies last week, 7 of which were black. I needed a way to distinguish them and these collars did the job. They were able to be cut to size and adjusted every couple of days as the puppies grew. I was worried that the collars Velcro would stick to each other when the puppies laid on each other, however this has not happened and the Velcro has held very well so the collars have all stayed on. I would highly recommend these for any kind of newborn animal!

These are great bands and they seem to self adjust as the puppy grows the only issue is they are Velcro and they collect all kinds of fur and debris. I am not gonna knock that because they worked really really well for dealing with a big litter of pups

Arrived in good time, at twice what it would have cost with a weeks postage. Collars continually caught & come loose / off entirely in contact with cotton & various fabrics. Can’t recommend as they have proved unfit for purpose.
