SOL DE JANEIRO Glow Oils Color Copacabana Bronze 2.5 oz

Was looking for a lotion with a bronzer and shimmer to wear with a black dress for a wedding, as I have yet to spend any time in the sun this year ☃️ I bought this, and one other from body shop figuring I would try out both since one is $18 and this one is $35. This one way by far just INCREDIBLE!! Totally exceeded all expectations! It gives my skin a beautiful bronze glow, and the smell is like an amazing perfume. I would wear that scent every day if it was available!

I have ordered this glow oil (Copacabana Bronze) twice (about a year apart)...and I absolutely LOVE it!!! My skin looks wonderful, healthy, with a shimmery glow until I wash it off. IT DOES NOT TRANSFER ONTO CLOTHING if you use it correctly. You must massage it into your skin until the tackiness goes away. If the liquid oil feels too oily/greasy, simply add it to another lotion and go to town!!! I mix my glow oil with coconut milk lotion...smells lovely, goes on smoothly, and makes my desert-damaged skin look and feel healthy. I have given this as gifts to family members who love it!

I love this company and own a ton of their lotions. I thought this product would give me a nice glow for the summer. However, I found the bronze didn't last very long and if I used it on my face the oil would ultimately end up in my hair over the course of the day. This meant by mid-afternoon, my hair would look terribly greasy around my face. Not an attractive look at all, so I've stopped using this product.

This product is everything I have ever wanted in a bronzy glow and smells so delicious you want to drink it! haha I get compliments all the time for the bronze glow and smell every time I wear it. There are a lot of people saying its sticky, this is ONLY when you put it on and its all on your hands, after it settles on your skin its NOT sticky. You wont be disappointed in this product and I guarantee you will get people asking "what are you wearing!" :)

I love the sophisticated glow and dewy j-lo type of glow that this oil gives. I discovered a trick - I use this to make myself an amazing hydrating face and body spray / setting spray for make up. I mix a small amount with bottled water (roughly 1/3 Part glow oil to 1 part water) and put it in a small spray bottle. I shake it up and mist my face, neck, and arms throughout the day for a nice refreshing, lightly scented spritz of tropical heaven. It leaves my skin and makeup with a really nice hydrated glow and resets my makeup so I look fresh each time.

I usually don’t take the time to write reviews, unless I am extremely happy or disappointed. In this case, I am disappointed. I have read reviews on this item, and thought that this would not run on to my clothing. However, once dry- after close to an hour of sitting around in a towel clothing of mine still became stained and ruined. I have used stain removers on my white clothing, and still it will never look the same. I am extremely disappointed, and thought that with the glow this had given me I would love it- I was completely wrong.

I love the way it looks upon initial application, however, that look didnt last long at all. I'm not sure if my skin is just so dry that it soaks up the product or what? I did try wearing it on several occasions day and night, by adding or not adding extra moisture to by skin, etc. However it just didn't do the job. I will say that it never transferred on to my clothes which is why I gave it the one star.

I love this!! Smells sooooo good and it’s the best, however I always have a hard time opening it. Great value I think the first time I brought it was in Sephora and I paid 60 so yes I would order more
