I'm very happy with this kit. My biggest concern was that the cleaning rod would be flimsy and bend like my polymer one that came with my Glock, but this one is solid! The jag, bore mop, and bronze brush are all great. This kit has sizes 40, 45, and 357. If you don't know much about firearms, the 357 size will fit a 9mm and also 38 special. The case this great! You can easily store it in a range bag. The pick they included was something I didn't know I needed until I used it. It's so handy to get into tight spaces. I'll take a patch and use the pick to push the patch into hard to get areas. They don't include many patches, so I'd probably buy some extra. You can get a ton of them cheap here on Amazon. One other thing I'll highly recommend for cleaning is foam tip swabs for cleaning electronics. They're great for getting spots bigger q-tips can't get into, but they're kinda expensive. You want the really small ones. Overall I'm very happy with this kit!

If you are adding this, or building up a set of gun cleaning equipment, the actual equipment in this kit is good, and will cover most handguns. The case is pretty much a waste of time after a small amount of use in my opinion. The size labels for the bore brushes and swabs are almost invisible, and I think after stuff gets a little dirty it won't stay put in there. With the orange side in there is no room for oil or solvent or other paraphernalia--so this is basically an add on to existing cleaning equipment. I would buy it again, though...it's easier than buying the individual pieces.

Excellent kit, compact, has everything I wanted except cleaning solvent and oil which I knew it didn't have when I purchased it. I bought 2oz bottles of each, replaced the 2 LARGE packs of patches (awesome by the way) with the 2 bottles I bought and a smaller patch packet, and now it's a complete kit! For what was included, the quality of the attachments (important) the quality of the case and zipper, I would say this is the best compact easy carrying hand gun cleaning kit you can buy!! I would buy one again (very affordable) and for each caliber individually. 5-Star product for my Springfield XD Mod.2 9mm 4.0I've included a pic to show how the oil and solvent fit nicely in addition to showing you its size compared to the 9mmRich

I bought this product after reading the impressive reviews.Unfortunately upon arrival I found that the rod in the T-bar handle spins quite freely, making It impossible to rotate anything being pulled through the barrel.I then found there is a no way of contacting the seller except through Facebook and I am not a follower.I have had to go back through the return system via Amazon which is going to add to my costs.I can therefore give only 3 stars because of the kit being useless to me upon arrival.I am hoping that the seller sees this review and contacts me,I have no complaints about the makeup of the kit, it seems to be well constructed and has everything to clean my 9mm.Once again I am very disappointed than unable to contact seller directly, even emailing through Amazon was not an option.****Update***** Must add here that seller has responded to my problem and have shipped a replacement kit at no additional cost to me,I have not received it yet, but if only for customer service I can up the star count .

I was shopping for the best cleaning kit for my handguns, and price was not a significant object in the scope of my search. However the expensive kits, as well as the mid and low grade kits were missing features, parts, or had plastic parts that would break easily. This kit only has one plastic part that is likely to break, the T handle... But I have a plan for that, if my handle breaks I will take a short copper or brass bar or pipe, drill a hole for the screw-in fitting, and braze/solder the fitting and have a solid T handle... Completing what is otherwise a nice all metal kit. Features I was looking for included metal parts that screw into the rods, that included nylon and brass brushes, cotton swabs, and a brass jag. It also comes with a brass patch eyelet, a supply of patches, and a couple pistol length rods, a "dental" pick and a "tooth brush"... It does not come with cleansing chemicals, but those are a personal preference that often arrive leaking into the kit... So ordering those separately makes sense anyway.You can't beat it for the quality. And it is outstanding for the price as well.Because I really like the idea of a home made brass/copper T handle, I may break it on purpose just so I can make that part.

Small ....Portable and with a nice case. Need to find a small refillable bottle for oil / cleaner to add to the case and then it will be complete.

Nice kit that I got for my daughter to maintain her 9mm. Easy to use and has everything needed to do a decent job.
