Lasts long
The large suet cylinder lasted over a week in my bird filled yard. In contrast, the smaller conventionally sized cylinders last little more than a day. I have hundreds of birds in my yard. Also, I attracted a wider variety of birds with this brand than many others.

5 Stars!
This is the only block I purchase for my bird feeders. When spending this much on bird feeding this company always provides an outstanding product & packaging which counts. The nuts are always high quality, not appearing to be scrap like some I have unfortunately purchased before. The binder holding the whole structure together is tasty to birds and almost as importantly withstands the weather. The block, as long as you can keep the squirrels away, will hold up for quite some time, as it should. As for the shipping container, some companies will wrap their product in simple plastic wrap and by the time you get it the edges are busted up and product is coming off in your hands. That is not an issue with this packaging. My blocks have always arrived in solid condition with no breakage or loss.5 stars for this company and product! My wildlife & I deeply appreciate you.

The birds love it
This is huge, but it still fits in the suet cylinder feeder. The birds love it. Regulars on it are downy, hairy, and red-bellied woodpeckers, Carolina wrens, nuthatches, house finches, and sometimes house sparrows. This is big, so it’s lasting a nice, long time. It’s been a couple of weeks with constant bird visitors, and there’s still more than half left. I’ll get this again.

Actually draws woodpeckers
Actually draws woodpeckers. I don’t know how, but we’ve had 3 varieties of woodpeckers peck at ours. Enjoyed watching them devour the seeds

Great Suet
The only issue was that our 5 ( could be 6) containers of suet came in a least 4 different shipments.

hard to remove from package & birds had trouble too
It was so difficult to get it out of the package that we had to destroy the container to get it out! The container is not cylindrical, with the open end larger than the other, so it *should* have been easy to get it out of the container, but it wasn't.Also, the birds seemed to have trouble getting the seeds from the seed log. It was out there for 2 weeks and looked like it had been barely touched.
