I love the price I got for this unit and my wife loves the safety it provides her with the left over needles. It has a great Snap lock lid that is a B*tch to remove if you accidentally snap the lid on.If you have the need for a sharps container and dont want to spend an arm or leg for a piece of plastic, then this one is the perfect one for you!

One of my 4 cats is special needs and requires routine injections. I needed something compact yet large enough to hold his used needles/syringes. And this was it. When it's full, I simply will take it to my vet for final disposable. One note, the lid is difficult to pop off, so if you have weakness or limited movement in your fingers/hands, then you may not want to pop the lid on fully. I'm 38 and have great movement in my hands, and I find it difficult to open, so I do not secure the lid. We have no kids in the house, and I keep it locked away in a cabinet to avoid it get knocked over.

We don't have laws in our country on individual needle disposals but I can just imagine how risky it would be for guys to contaminate themselves as a result of one's negligence, so: enter the BD Home Sharps Container. I was looking for the cheapest one I could find and did so through this vendor. Extremely fast shipping as well.I was expecting the item to be quite small and portable though, like a pill bottle.. and was surprised to see a large jug-like container. Very tough and sturdy so you probably shouldn't worry about the thing getting punctured. For the price, it's truly something you need to complement your diabetes kit.

My favorite size and brand for insulin needles. Great size and shape as well as quality for product. Always stick with this one for the convenient space-saving design, ability to get in a high count of thin insulin size needles (especially if I just do tips) and the ease of use. No flimsy or cheaply made.

I got this for my dad to dispose of needles from his Lantus insulin pen. It works perfectly—much easier than removing the needle with the cap. He has poor eyesight and had trouble seeing where to place the pen, but I think he will get used to the feel of it. My only request would be to include a removable cap for travel. The cap that comes with it is permanent, for disposal. I mad the mistake of putting it on, and had to pry to off with a fork.

Wanted a better sharps container for my grand daughter. Works great, durable and lid is very secure. Perfect size for her station we set up for her.
