These are quality bulbs. Emulates a 60 watt incandescent bulb in color and lumens. 100% brightness instantly. Fits nicely in lamps with shades and no heat.This is not a deal killer, but the stated wattage of 6.3 is 7.1 watts, as measured in my bulbs. I mention this only for information to those using them in wattage restricted environments of inverters, solar or generators. These are not dimmable in touch lamps or fan/ wall dimmers and solid state dusk-dawn devices . Works fine in relay controlled devices.Plan to use more in changing out the compact fluorescents.

Product is great. It's a nice warm temperature and gentle. It's not too bright, and it's great for your home. Plus it saves a lot of energy! Note: this product is suppose to come with 4 bulbs, but if you buy from a third party, you might accidentally get one pack (2 bulbs), which happened to me. It kind of sucked, cause I like these bulbs but not quite worth the 2 hr drive to IKEA here. But Amazon took care of my order problem nicely. I recommend these bulbs for any condition.

Nice little bulbs. brightness is not bad for the Wattage. Wish it had a whiter glow, but I should have thought about that before purchasing and cannot hold it against the bulb. It gives off a yellowish glow. They are very affordable for LED bulbs and were well packed.Neither were DOA. Not much more can be said.

We used the bulb in a lamp on my son's desk. This bulb gave off a significant amount of light and works well. I am satisfied with this purchase.

A little pricey, but better than buying on the Ikea website paying for shipping that costs practically the bulbs themselves. This gives off a nice yellow glow. I called Ikea directly to make sure it would work with a lamp I bought a long time ago and they were helpful. Better deal to get this two pack than the single bulb for around $9.50.

I bought 4 of those to replace the 25W bulbs on the front of my house. Previously I had to replace one of those bulbs at least once every 2 months. Since putting the LEDs in 2.5 years ago, I had no failure. They are running 10 - 12h per day. You might say that this is expected of LEDs, but not in my experience. Some brands have higher failure rates than incandescent bulbs. This one here has been rock solid so far. Yeah its dim as people point out, but so were the 25W ones they replaced.UPDATE 3 years later: still all 4 going

I first bought four two-packs of these bulbs in May 2017 (for $6 each) and made for great spares for others, one pack even lasting for about two years in two standing floor lamps alone! I would not buy these again however and would opt for buying specialty light bulbs in person, but these were a decent experiment. Overall I give the “Ikea E26 LED Light Bulb 400 Lumen (2 Pack)” a serviceable 3/5 stars!

Bought these for a lamp that had an odd light bulb size requirement. They are overpriced and not incredible bright but then again they are only 40w light bulbs so you wouldn't expect that. They do not put out very much heat which is a nice plus.
