The lantern is really nice, it's real metal, real glass and real wood. It's nice and sturdy. The candle is pretty, and even comes with a remote. I'm not a fan of replacing batteries, so I opted to put a small led with a glass sphere inside of it that gets plugged in, and automatically comes on and off with the flip of a switch along with the rest of the lights in the room. Sometimes, there are just no words - and the loss of a loved one is one of those times. This lantern is a way to say "I care, I am so sorry for your loss" without words, and it lasts well beyond the Celebration of Life ceremony as a reminder of your love. We have it on a shelf with photos of our dads, both who have gone to heaven. The message is one I could never hear enough, and comforting during difficult moments - Goodbyes aren't forever. For those of us who put our faith in Jesus, it's just the reminder that we need that life is temporary, our losses are temporary, and someday we will be together again.

I recently got the Memorial Lantern with Remote, hoping it would be a thoughtful and beautiful addition to my home in remembrance of a loved one. The lantern itself is stunning and elegantly designed, making it a fitting tribute and a source of comfort during this difficult time. However, I was disappointed to find that the remote, which is an important piece of the set, was missing from the package. The absence of the remote limits the functionality of the lantern, detracting from the overall experience. While the lantern is beautiful and serves its purpose well, the missing remote is a significant oversight.

I got this to put up with my dad's ashes and my little area of remembrance for him. This Lantern is absolutely beautiful and has great craftsmanship. It truly is a stunning piece that catches your attention. It comes with a remote control for the candle. It has a timer, two lighting modes, stay lit and flickering, and it is dimmable. This is an excellent gift for anyone experiencing a lost.
