Better Than BouillonNo Beef Base Vegetarian, 8 Ounce

This worked well I made my own bone broth and added a little amount of this to it when I was making a sauce it worked fine.

This stuff has changed my cooking. Made an awesome pan sauce with this. It’s not actually expensive if you consider how much stock you can make. I’m sure it works out cheaper than the knorr stock gel pots, plus knorr doesn’t have a beef flavour vegetarian option. I’ve just ordered the No Chicken base which is a little cheaper. I will replace the No Beef base when it runs out and I’ll probably always have these stock concentrate jars in my kitchen as it can be used in so many dishes. Well done to this company for this product!

So nice for a base to loads of veggie food. Superb to flavour seitan. Use for stir fry, veg gravy, sauces, curries, anything that needs additional veggie stock etc.... Loads of servings per pot . Very concentrated so you'll probably not need to use additional salt.Expensive but because of the amount of servings and ohhhh the taste !!!!!!! it's worth every penny. I love it !!!!!

I got some of this stuff in america and am a complete convert. This is the first time I have found it in the UK and was very glad! Review in one word? Omnomnomnomnom!

This is a rather expensive alternative to using marmite in home made meat substitutes. It gives the recipe a beefy taste.

I only gave this 3 stars because it is very expensive for what it is. I use it to flavour my seitan as I am vegetarian. I could maybe get the same result by dissolving stock cubes and adding them instead. It is quite salty but I suppose stock cubes might be the same. Overall I would by it again if it was cheaper to buy.

£28 for a $5 glass - just don't.

I have tried all of the Vegan soup base from Better than Boullion and they are very tasty. I would recommend the beef to make your Vegan soups. It is versatile. I also use it to flavor and marinate my alternative meat soy products. good products!

I used this to make vegan "ground beef" the flavour was there! This stuff is great and I will buy it again for sure. It's a thick liquid and you will have to keep it in the fridge after opwning.

Was sceptical about the taste, but it is great.

I was pleased with the flavor. I used it to create a taco meat replacement using lentils. For health reasons, I'm trying to incorporate more veggies and grains into my diet. This helps to provide the flavor of beef which makes switching out the beef for the veggies a little easier.

This product was sent expired and there is no option to return or replace. Very disappointing
