This has been a welcome addition to our backyard as well as for camping. Definitely watch the video on how to get this up as that helped a ton. My son and I first had difficulty getting the poles pulled up enough to get them snapped in place but once we both did each pole together we had enough strength to get them done. You’ll know they are pulled enough to be set in to place when the red button on the poles is no longer flush but is popped out.Once all set up this has been really great to help keep most bugs out and away from us. The only ones that get in are when we’re going in and out of it.It’s roomy enough to fit our camp table and 4 chairs with room to walk around and what I am really glad about is that this has loops on the sides and in the top center that you can attach lights onto.The stakes are thicker than I expected this would come with and the guy lines help keep this in place through some wind gusts. I can’t say how this would fair in really strong ones as we haven’t encountered any more than 15mph gusts to date, but this did just fine with that when we were out camping with it.The material of the body is durable as are the poles. The seams are sewn well and the zippers all work smoothly.Taking down isn’t so bad and with some patience does pack back up into the bag just fine. It is heavy to carry but gosh we really like having this. I recommend.

This is a big sun shade tent. It comes in a nice big bag, that it fits back into, and very simple set up.Set up: As it is roughly 10x10, it's useful to have an extra person to help set it up. I struggled with it by myself, especially as the tent came clipped to the poles, which created more tension. The tent poles have a red button to extend them and once tended and then pulled apart, the middle section can be popped up.Once up: This a roomy shade tent with zippered walls that can be entirely removed. The tent is attached to the legs but I did not attempt to try to remove it entirely. It is strengthened a bit for being freestanding with straps that attach from pole bottom to pole bottom. It comes with tent pegs to also secure it to the ground.Take down: I unclipped the tent from the legs and removed the screens and it removed the tension. I also used some extra help so that made it fast. It comes with 2 extra straps to keep this tight together and then you can shove it into the bag.So yeah, really like this. I have another shade shelter by Coleman that is much harder to assemble and absolutely needs more people to open up. This is much easier to work with and lighter. It's price point is a bit on par with other shade tents but this feels polished (perhaps because it is white and not splashed with other colors). Would definitely recommend this.

I realized I wouldn't have time to go to the beach to set up this beach tent, so I invited my neighbors over to help assemble it in my backyard over the weekend. Honestly, I'm glad I had help, as I initially had trouble anchoring the stakes and poles to the ground. However, once my neighbor adjusted the tension and lock, we were able to set it up without any issues.In terms of comfort, it's a really nice setup! We brought in a small table and chairs and still had plenty of room to move around and easily enter and exit. The mesh screen is quite durable (it reminded me of the mesh screen on my patio door) and did a great job protecting us from the sun and keeping insects out—although I also had a portable insect-repellent device running.I really like the tent's polyester fabric, which seemed to resist the light rain that came during our gathering. My final thought: the tent looks great, and the storage bag is actually large enough to fit the tent, which isn't always the case with other bags I've encountered.

Very impressed with this tent. I haven't had it long enough to comment on durability but it has many features, seems well designed and I am hopeful that it will last a long time. What I like:**Easy To Assemble/Disassemble -- Easiest with two people but one can do it if needed.**Roomy -- This tent has a lot of room. Easily fits over a picnic table, room for 4+lawn chairs and a dog!**Nice Details -- The Mesh window zippers have nice pull strings on them. There are built-in storage pouches at each corner of the tent to stow the mesh panels when you aren't using them. Great idea to ensure you don't forget to bring all the panels home.**Roomy Storage Bag -- The storage bag is a little oversized so the tent and accessories easily fit back in without a struggle. There's even room for a hammer/mallot plus a rolled beach towel or two in the case.**Sturdy in Breezy Conditions -- With four tie-downs staked to the ground and air vent at the top, this tent can withstand a steady breeze. It's not made for high wind conditions. Take it down before you have to chase it should a strong wind uproot it!What Could Be Better:**Large Tie-Down Stakes -- I thought stakes were included with this tent. Mine didn't come with stakes**Plastic Zipper -- The panel zippers look like they have plastic teeth. Would be more durable if the zippers were all metal.**Include Sandbags -- Including fillable sandbags with this tent would be an upgrade.**Include Setup Instructions: The videos online do a good job of showing you how to set up this tent but I think every product, including this one should come with instructions. This tent did not.**Warranty -- I could not find warranty information. A tent this nice should be backed by a company warranty. If it has one, make the information more prominent.This is a very impressive tent. Leave the mesh panels up or down, depending on the bugs. This tent does everything that those pop-up canopy tents seen at sporting events can do, and then some. I recommend the Vidalido Beach Tent Sun Shelter.

I have always wanted a tent to take to the beach for my kids, I saw this and decided to go for it. This tent is 9ft wide x 9ft long and about 7ft tall. It can fit me my wife and 2 kids inside with room to spare. What makes this tent amazing is that it has screens on all 4 sides. The material is made of strong polyester fabric. It also has UV protecting properties to help with protection from the sun for those of fairer skin like children. At the beach, we can be completely out of the sun and still get all the breeze and freshness of the beach. This tent is fairly easy to put up and put away. It comes with a carry bag so once you are done, you can store this very easily in a closet or the garage. I have used this mainly at the beach, but it also comes in handy at the park for picnics and days at the park, my kids can have a safe place to lay and relax out of the sun with mosquito protection as well. This has quickly become a weekend necessity for us, and I think once you get this, it will become a necessity for you as well.
