The CONNETIX magnetic tiles roads, ramps, and intersections package is a good addition for kids who love creative, hands-on toys. It’s not just about stacking towers anymore—user can build entire roadways, ramps, and intersections for little cars to race around. It adds a whole new level of fun and imagination to playtime.What I like is how easy it is to snap the tiles together with strong magnets. My kid and I can connect roads, construct cool ramps, and create complex intersections in no time. Plus, as we already have other CONNETIX sets or even from other brands, this expansion seamlessly fits in, giving us even more options for our builds. Watching cars zoom around the roads or race down the ramps really brings the whole thing to life (however, the cars are not included in this package).Prior to getting this package, buyers needs to be aware: this set is more of an add-on than a standalone kit. It doesn’t come with a ton of pieces, so if you’re hoping to build something bigger or more intricate, you’ll definitely need to get the main set of regular tiles (which isn’t included). With just the pieces in this package, I found myself wishing for more tiles to really stretch my creativity. And while the quality is excellent, all the tiles are black. A bit of color variety would go a long way in making the constructions even more exciting.That said, one thing I really liked is the full-color manual that comes with the set. It’s a great guide with ideas for different builds, so if the user is feeling stuck or just want some inspiration, it’s right there to help out.

I ordered this to add to our growing box of magnetic tiles and vehicles and thought a road set would make a great addition.I found the pictures a little misleading as there are only 16 pieces which are the black ones shown and not any of the coloured pieces, however reading the description it does state that there are only 16 pieces. At $100 for the pieces I found it an expensive set. You can make a very small oval track but really do need the larger set to add to this.The quality of the pieces is really good, they are robust, heavy, and have a good magnetic seal. The enclosed booklet shows lots of ways to use the road pieces but, again, you need the basic set as well.

Pros:- A great add-on set of 16 roads and intersections for a larger set (note that it contains only the black pieces shown in the pictures; it doesn't contain the coloured tiles or cars)- All tiles are very well made- Tiles may be difficult for young children to separate when they're layered sitting on each other as the magnets are fairly strongOpportunities:- Seems a bit pricey (currently $99) for something that is an add-on but would be a good investment for kids who love playing with them

Pros:- Has the Connetix quality - these are robust and the magnets are excellent- Nice variety of piecesCons:- It's mediocre as a standalone set. This feeling is furthered by the book including very few designs that can be made without the additional of other sets. Even the box shows an image that would have to be made of at least half of pieces not included in this product.

These roadway magnetic tiles are a great addition to any child’s current set of magnetic tiles. You can use just these ones to make a small track, or attach your other magnetic tiles to make a big track, using these ones for the bends and ramps.
