Does the job
At first was going to send it back as it did not have all the spins I wanted but for the price I think it is worth it.It arrived with 38 hours great.I am enjoying it as it offers different speed. You can play one end of the table to the middle table in oscillator or from one end to the other table.4 stars because the instructions are in Chinese and it takes some days to find your speed. There is no digital screen to tell you. But a good training partner so I will keep it.

Good budget mechanical TT partner
(This is as much an account as a review because there are limited guides online how to set this up as part of a budget solution and I thought the account might be helpful)I'm a keen but really rather average league table tennis player. COVID-19 has stopped matches and I miss my evenings of exercise playing TT. I've wanted a robot for some time but we really don't have a very good setup as the only surface I can accommodate is the dining room table. I also can't prioritise spending lots of money. The PP20 was what had been recommended but is too expensive for me (even as another budget solution) and so with COVID I thought I would try the PP15. 100 Balls and a new net to fit the table (I had a net but it was a set width and the fittings were only for a TT table) were necessary extras and added another £50.The setup I have is a combination of the dining room table (oiled teak veneer) and a small table picnic table at about the same height which the PP15 sits on. I've set the net at 4'6" from my end and inbetween the robot and the table stretched an old sheet to occupy the space an opponents table normally would as a guide, with a hole cut in the middle of the sheet so that balls, once received, drop through into a box. The PP15 is located at about 9' away from my end of the table, but there is scope with my setup to adjust this so that the PP15 serves balls where I want them. I also sometimes use a couple of thin books to angle the PP15 forward slightly. In use I find that I can use the 0, 1 & 2 'angle' setting on the robot at low speed to generate balls in line, varying within a few degrees and varying within the width of the table respectively. I can also use the 0 & 1 setting at full speed too; the faster speed seems to be associated with a wider angle of service and on 2 they don't all reliably land on my smaller table. I've started experimenting with a number of settings in terms of top and bottom spin but noted that these sometimes require some further adjustment of the robot to ensure the balls bounce my end. But a workable setup can be achieved. The robot is better than me and offers good practice. I am having enough difficulty getting the balls back at all, let alone with style, to not yet be wishing I could have sidespin (which contrary to some online reviews is not offered on this model) or any programmed options. Time is split evenly between practice and retrieving balls, but the sheet with the hole into a box is helpful. I guess I am only keen to play for 10-30 minutes at a time rather than the two hour sessions I used to enjoy, and because I can't move around much it is not as aerobic as match or practice play but I am sure it will give me a head start next season and in the meantime is a good diversion. Of course it does mean the dining room has been repurposed! There is no doubt this robot would be better with a full sized table and ball catching and feeding hopper. But as long as you aren't playing against me next season, I recommend it. Of course it could be better, and the remote could be a bit more responsive, but it appears to be good value for money and a good diversion for someone self-isolating or on lockdown.

Great value for money.
Cheap, simple and reliable. It didn't come with instructions but didn't need any. I must admit I just pressed the + and - buttons until I got the desired depth and spin. On my favourite setting (a moderate amount of backspin), the first couple of balls don't go over the net when you first start, but that just gives you a bit more time to be ready for your first shot. Don't forget to raise and invert the top of the ball holder. I had one scare when I turned the machine on and the balls didn't fire and the wheels didn't rotate. I couldn't find any trouble shooting online. Fortunately emptying the machine of balls and reloading solved the problem immediately. The ability to get the robot to swing from side to side different amounts with the simple turn of a dial is a great feature. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive machines and I think the amount of spin might vary more, but this makes the experience more realistic and in my view better training. The seller is very helpful and friendly. I didn't buy a net and have found two large blankets at the end of the table, against a window ledge catch most of the balls.
