Fun Read for Curious Minds
This is a great collection of answers to the why we are always in search of. I learned quite a few fun facts and the writing was clear and focused. I would recommend this for an older child. Well done.

Decent fun facts
Fun, interesting trivia with some cute and clever illustrations.Only things that knocks off a star is that it’s lacking a bit of overall design and formatting polish. It feels a little like a barebones book with just the contents written out in a long list. And there was just one page of facts that I didn’t think was fully appropriate for the age range this seemed to cater to (it was about Guy Fawkes and talked about terrorists and assassinations)

Great for Curious Kids
The author must have written down the quesitons that kids asked him over the years! His research to find the answers was excellent, and he provided fasinating facts that appeal to both middle grade students and high school students (and adults). This would be a great resource for after-care teachers to help keep students learning while having fun.

Promotes critical thinking
This book promotes critical thinking with the word 'why'.This is a series of fun facts that goes more into the details of why. For example, why do we say "Bless you" when someone sneezes. In this example, it talks about interesting facts, such as who says this phrase, then it discusses how it came about. At the end of the section, with all sections, are fun facts. There are other, culturally driven subjects, that will help the reader appreciate the different cultures around the world. Each chapter begins with an illustration, inviting a young reader to take interest in the subject. The chapters are relatively short, to the point, but filled with fascinating information. At the end of the book is an extensive reference list, demonstrating much research was put into this book.Highly recommended.

Wonder why?
From the perfect front cover to the end of the book Wonder Why? delivers fun, entertainment, and facts we might not know. Cute sketches introduce each "wonder" section and get kids prepared to learn something new. Always love the Riddleland books. They are great for all ages and fun trivia for the classroom.

Like the “why”questions
Unlike so many other fun-fact books for kids, I like how this is organized, each section starting with a why question. The answer is usually correct although I did question some answers. Also, Thanksgiving is a holiday not a festival. This mistake irks me because it is a holiday. But anyway, I like the format of this book. Lengthy too which is good and decent illustrations.

I enjoyed it! Well done
This is a delightful treasure trove for inquisitive minds. Each page brims with intriguing anecdotes and surprising facts, making it an engaging read for both kids and adults. The author’s knack for weaving scientific explanations with historical and cultural trivia keeps readers hooked. The format of this book, with its easy-to-digest questions and answers, transforms learning into a joyous adventure. It not only quenches curiosity but also ignites new interests, making it an essential companion for anyone who revels in exploring the wonders of our world.I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Though the historian in me would at times think, 'That's only part of the story', the fact remains I enjoyed it.

Fun facts and interesting stories
This book is really interesting to me as there are lots of stories I have never heard of. I learned new things and also some fun facts that I did not realise before. I do find some stories less interesting, but overall, the stories are great to read. And each story is not long, so it is not boring to read. I highly recommend this book.

Great Illustrations
This is a great little book, with interesting facts and then a nice tailored illustration for each fact. Facts that explain why people do things or why certain countries have certain traditions. Why people snore, why some people are left-handed etc etc. Facts of life that you might be curious to know.

Good
The concept is good and I enjoyed the facts, but I agree with some of the other comments: kids may not find the topics interesting as they seem kind of dated.
