I bought a 1/2 metre cable for my CD to Amplifier to try it out but it is listed on the selector as a separate source so I changed back to RCA cables. I did however, notice how tight they fit but this is an advantage because I have ordered a longer one for the telly to soundbar connection as the cable I have there is secured by tape! This cable fits securely which is needed for a vertically fitting connection.Since the above review, I have received the second longer cable and it fits securely and has solved my problem of getting the sound base for the telly to work without buzzing because the flimsy cable we had before kept dropping out. Lovely looking too.

Absolutely brilliant item. I am so pleased I checked this item out as I first bought one from a well known electrical store and paid well over the odds fortunately before I opened that one, I checked this one out and saved myself an absolute fortune. You really don't have to pay a lot of money for these connectors as they are all created equal. I am so pleased I found this one. Great product would recommend.

I already have the Akord HDMI lead and decided to match it up with this optical cable. Looks amazing and the gold ends add that premium feel. I found the same product with the only variance being the length at 1mtr and 1mtr 50cm selling at between £7 - £9 dearer. A real steal to get the 2mtr length for a snip of the price. Bargain

Nice solid connections. Fairly flexible and seems good quality at a resonable price. There is zero point wrapping the cable in braid other than for aesthetics or gold plating the connectors as it's optical but this is well made and works as well as any other cable I have tried. Optical cables all perform the same IME anyway to be honest.

These cables look well made and seem to perform well. The only problem I encountered (with one or two of the several I have) is that the connector wouldn't "click" into place. So you didn't know whether it was connected properly or not. In fairness, though, most of them clicked into place OK. Hence 4 stars.

Brilliant TOS lead, very well built with nice gold connections (something that does not effect audio quality but does make it look nicer). The cable is shielded well and covered with a thick braiding for extra protection and strain relief. Very good value for money.

Strongly built and does the job perfectly

This optical cable seems to be of a very good build quality and heavy duty. I'm happy with the fit to my TV to Sound Bar and have no hesitation in recommending it. I would happily buy another if I needed one. Good value for money!
