Great Value and Comfortable!
I owned a pair of Maui Jim Banyans for 10 years until I recently accidentally broke the frame. Mid-summer and didn't want to spend the big money for an exact replacement, I went shopping. Finding these glasses were a game changer for me! Polarized (we live on a lake), economical, comfortable, lightweight and classy are the big acronyms that come to mind for me. Wouldn't think twice about picking these up. Plan on purchasing more to put in every vehicle.

Fit nicely
Great for my daughter while playing tennis. Wraparound and slim fit. Inexpensive, but good quality.

Updated from original review
I wanted to really like the product and write a positive review. I first wrote the company through email and haven't gotten a response. So here goes... The glasses appear cheaply made. What you would expect straight from China. The screw on the hinge isnt recessed and after opening and closing the hinge nay loosen which is why they probably send a small screwdriver with the glasses. The lens are supposed to make images clear and bright but not as expected. I would return them but for 10 bucks, it's not worth the time and effort. Lesson learned. " You get what you pay for. ".Updated reviewAfter wearing them for a few weeks while driving the hinges haven’t loosened. Everything appears pretty clear until you drive through some shady areas , then it’s like normal dark sunglasses. They are light and comfortable and are holding up so far. I am impressed enough to purchase a second pair. To walk back on my previous statement “you get what you pay for” , they’re actually a really good deal for the price.

Best Sunglasses I've Had
I've been using these sunglasses for a couple of years. They've been used daily for everything from driving to backpacking to hunting to boating to canoeing. They are super light, which makes them perfect for anything active and comfortable for all day use. However, the best part is that they are much more durable than expensive sunglasses from the big name brands. The lenses don't scratch or pop out even though I tend to throw them around in the truck or backpack. Also, the frame is a very simple design, so you don't have nose piece or ear piece separations like I have had with other glasses. I have no idea why they sell for under $20, but I'm not complaining.

cheap polarized sunglasses - worth it?
Bought May 19, 2019 broke June 4, 2020These are cheap and they are polarized. They seem cheap and easy to break; but are flexible. I haven't tried to bend them like the page suggests you can and I doubt they would without breaking. It wraps around and keeps sun and wind out of the eyes. It come with a decent bag and cleaning cloth. The arms are slightly cocked (one side lower than the other) and doesn't lay flat on a table but they work and fit for me. There is enough of a bow to the arms to allow them to go over my helmet straps and they don't interfere with my wire over the ear lobe ear buds. And they're very light. These are as good if not better than some pairs you'd get a a discount department store for an equal or lesser price. I have had no experience of the lens warping my view. These are really really light.edit - I've treated these with kid gloves but have dropped them a few times with no damage. but I bumped them against a table, lightly, and an arm broke off at the hinge and it put a small superficial crack in the lens in the upper left were it connects to the frame.

Good cheap sunglasses
Overall good cheap sunglasses.Pros:- Very lightweight- Fits me and my big head- Comfortable for long periods of time- Clear vision and look finePotential cons:- Part of the reason these glasses are so lightweight is because the plastic seems rather thin. So far I've had no issues with these breaking and they seem rather flexible, but they do feel flimsy while holding them. I'll update review if they break due to non-excessive force.- People can still see through them (i.e. people can see your eyes). Not really a big deal to me, but others may not like this.

Buyer might consider other options, but these are kind of good?
What I like: They ARE LIGHTWEIGHT. They look sleek, and not nerdy. They work GREAT; the shading is perfectly balanced, meaning it cuts the sunlight, and while these are not transition types, I can wear them indoors for a few minutes without having running into things because they are too dark. The polarizing makes everything clear and crisp. They sit on the bridge of my nose with no slippage! (Love that.)What I don't like is they feel fragile and I broke my first "unbreakable" pair taking them off. Frame held up, the hinge on an arm broke, so the description is accurate. They hug your head, which is fine. I just did not sign up for getting stabbed by the ends, of the arms of the frame. The lenses are roughly finished so they needed a fine sanding to remove the sharp edges; same with the pointy ends of the arms. With some additional tweaking, these would be a great five star pair of glasses.

Polarized, light, comfortable, durable
I'm on the water a lot and wear sunglasses almost all the time outdoors here in Florida. I went through several pairs of Flying Fisherman sunglasses in the last several years, but 7 months ago I bought two pairs of these along with one pair of Flying Fishermans (which have been improved to keep the lenses from falling out).I prefer the brownish/reddish tint to blue/gray. In the last 7 months I have worn the Julis almost exclusively and they are now my favorite. They are lighter and more comfortable than the Flying Fisherman pair and seem just as durable. I'm pretty rough on them, often dropping them and have had almost no scratches. I have not had any breakage at all. I recently lost a pair so have just purchased 3 more pairs so that I can always find one, and keep them in various places. I don't see any reason to pay any more as these seem just perfect for me.

Buen precio y calidad suficiente.
La calidad es suficientemente buena por el precio que pagué. Recomendable si no quiere gastar mucho en lentes que luego se pierden.

Great sunglasses for active sports use
This was the second identical pair I bought. The only reason I needed a second pair after three years was that I dropped them from a far height and scratched them - even then they were still totally useable.I have worn these on hundreds of distance runs and they are comfortable, lightweight and stay in place well regardless of how much movement and sweat there is.Absolutely amazing product for such a low price point.
