LOVE IT. IT WORK. Projector HDMI eARC to HDMI in on box, then HDMI out from box to HDMI in on amp
Works Beautifully, tried several but this works. So this is how you do it.Projector has two HDMI, one is used for build in Streamer , 2nd is HDMI(eARC) , this one can send out audio .My amp did not have eARC HDMI , but had plain inputs HDMI.I connected Projector HDMI eARC to this box HDMI in , and connect headphone , sound what there ..... so now I know box is working, then i used Box HDMI out (Audio only) to HDMI in of my amp.. it work.I tried SPDIF now sound but it could be my amp. settings. did not try RCA.. but if you get audio outon headphone jack then this box is work , then problems is somewhere else.LOVE IT>

No RCA output when using ARC
RCA does not work when using ARC output. Works if using PCM. This a deal breaker for me, I will be returning the device as they claimed simultaneous output. PCM negates the audio advantage of ARC.

Plug and play
So happy I found this! Just bought a new TV that only has an HDMI eARC port for external audio but my old sound receiver uses an optical cable. I really didn't want to invest in a new receiver, so I thought I'd give this a try. I unboxed the product, plugged in all the cables (you will need your own charging brick to plug in the DC power cable if you're not plugging it into a USB port on your TV), turned my TV on and everything works like a charm! Fantastic product!

It works!
I really don’t know how to rate this little helper. I have an old Bose Lifestyle 5 speaker surround sound, and recently updated my TV. Lo and behold—no RCA inputs on the TV. What to do? YouTube of course. Some guy said this handy gadget would work, but I was skeptical. But, heck it was only $25 on Amazon, so why not? It took some trial and error and the little bit of common sense I have, but it does connect the new with the old. Why does every new electronic product have to use new inputs and outputs? I guess so little gadget makers can exist. My trepidation for the rating is strictly because there are no bells and whistles. It works, that’s it, 4 stars. Done.

Really does control the volume by TV remote
Unlike many otherrs, this ARC to stereo converter does allow control of the analog audio volume by the TV remote. It is powered from a USB port on the TV. Nice solid product. Easy to set up, as long as you set the HDMI ARC to on, audio to PCM and CEC to on. Full range stereo output.

Sony Bravia doesn't like it
Product quickly arrived in good condition. Hookup to my Sony Bravia TV was straightforward. Problem is... this device is not recognized by the TV's ARC/eARC port. After a couple hours of menus and support web sites I gave up.

Works perfectly with my new 2024 Samsung TV
Recently replaced my 11 year old Samsung TV with a brand new 2024 43” Samsung flat screen. I have an old Bose soundbar from 2014 that has an optical cable input to play sound and needed it to connect it to my new Samsung TV (which shockingly didn’t provide an optical sound output port). It was easy to hookup, however you need to make sure that you have a way to plug in the provided USB cord to a power source. It took me less than 5 minutes to hook it all up and the sound quality is exceptional! I saved hundreds of dollars not having to purchase a new soundbar! Definitely great value for the money!
