I have never had a gel manicure nor do I intend to. I have pretty good nails but thought I would try out this topcoat to see if it would keep my manicure nice longer.I have a UV light, so that wasn't a problem for me.This is a very thick topcoat and you have to be careful when using it with the fat brush to make sure you don't over-coat your nails and get the topcoat onto your cuticles as I did in a couple of places the first time I used it.I used my UV light for 60 seconds and my nails are glossy and holding the manicure very nicely, even on the tips where I normally get chipping and flaking.The only downside to this, as with all gel nails, is that it is difficult getting it off. You have to invest in a lot of time and effort to get it off while keeping your skin healthy. There is always a trade-off!

I got this to be used as a top coat for my gel nail polish but I love that it can be used for a variety of other nail options from acrylic to dip powder as well. It's easy to apply and glides evenly onto my nails, giving it the perfect shiny clear top coating that I need :)

The top coat was simple to use its not too runny and the stays in place once applied. The self leveling of the top coat works well and levels out pretty fast giving you a smooth clean surface with no brush marks. Takes about 45s to harden under UV light, dries hard, crystal clear and super glossy. Tough, I have short nails and pretty rough with my hands the top coat did a great job at protecting the color gel coat without chipping or loosing any of its glossiness.

This review is for 1 bottle of Lavender Violets 15ml No Wipe Gel Top Coat. This top coat needs curing with a led/uv lamp. It goes on smooth and applies easily over my base and 2 coats gel color whith curing between each layer. I tend use 2 coats of top coat when using over(bumpy) nail art for an extra smooth finish(curing between each). Thus product works for my needs.

It seems that fingernail polish has been taken to multiple, new levels in recent years. I am accustomed to using various forms of polish for utility purposes and not for nails. This form is clear but requires UV light to cure. No problem, one of those is on the way plus I have a UV flashlight.The polish responded to the UV light as expected and provided a nice, gloss finish during my test. Well done.

I've been trying different top coats recently and I love this one. It's very easy to use and easy to bring on the go. The brush is wide enough to get an even application. The polish itself is thick but not too thick. It cures really nicely and allows for a nice and shiny finish.
