Easy setup and the picture quality is amazing also customer service/support is amazing, when my mom couldn’t remember where she had hid the password they walk me through the recovery process

Overall it's a great deal.
I still can't get it to work on my TV through an HDMI cable, and I can't get it set up on my desktop computer. I had to go out and buy a brand new TV, and it STILL wouldn't work on it. So then I moved my computer monitor out to the main room and hooked it up, and it worked with that. So now I had to go buy a new monitor for my computer. I am tech handicapped, so I'm frustrated. I did manage to get the app on my phone, so I can see things when I'm away as well as being able to walk out to the family room and look at my 24"monitor there.If you are younger and more tech savvy, you should do fine. If you are getting it for an older family member, help them set things up. Please.

ONE OF THE BEST
JUST WANT TO SAY, IT IS ONE OF THE BEST, OUT OF THE BOX, VERY EASY TO CONNECT AND SET UP. CAMERAS ARE GREAT AND CLEAR. OWNED THE OTHER BRAND (THE OWL) FOR YEARS AND THIS SYSTEM IS FAR MORE SUPERIOR AND COST LESS TOO. WOULD HIGHLY RCOMMEND SWANN SECURITY SYSTEM TO ANYONE.

Piece of Junk
NVR failed after 4 months. Just keeps rebooting with no results. Weird user interface too. I'm done with SWANN. Waste of time and effort. Avoid.

The quality of the product is good for its price. I'm happy. The bad thing is that one of the 8 cameras came bad and didnt work and ended up installing only 7.
