I’ve always used Wahl brand clippers but wanted to try these since mine were purchased in the 80’s and it was time for a new set! Although they are still new and I can’t say yet if they’ll last 40 years, I’m still super impressed. They have a nice solid weight, the design and finish are beautifully done and the set has clippers, trimmers and shaver- everything you need. Most importantly, they perform! The blades are sharp and give a quality cut. They are strong enough to cut through thick hair while the motor is quiet and does not heat up. The set comes with blade guards which attach magnetically and charging cords, but no blade oil, so I’ll need to use my own. I really enjoy using this set because of the performance and comfort of use. Highly recommended!

Pretty impressive shaver and hair trimmer set. The quality is immediately noticeable. Both units have a solid weight and feel to them.The charging system and battery readout work well. Battery life and operation are clear to understand. The hair trimmer and its magnetic attachments work smoothly. It's great for touchups.This was my first time trying an electric shaver so not much of a baseline. I think I may just prefer manual shaving razors. For me, the shaver just doesn't do the job as efficiently as a manual and my skin seems to get irritated by this electric. This may be this particular shaver or it may be all electric shavers in general, hard for me to say. Also, the detachment / reattachment of the shaver blades for rinsing did not work as smoothly as one would like.

This shaver kit is an excellent gift for anyone who needs to shave daily but doesn't have the time to shave the traditional way while they are running late to class. Trim your sideburns and around your ears quickly with the typical mustache trimmer and then grab the screen shaver for your face. Definitely a fine gift. Side Note: This does not come with the charger brick. You probably have at least 4 in your bedside nightstand. Use one of them.

Coming at this combo as a haircutting enthusiast/home barber, I rate both the trimmer and the foil shaver as being average in quality. The presentation is great. I admire the construction and the aesthetics of the trimmer and shaver but I understand that the gold metalesque design isn't for everyone. I was curious as to how a triple foil shaver with trimmer blades in between the foils would perform. I have to say the power didn't blow me away. It would seem quantity of foils isn't everything as I have seen many double foil shavers that offer more power. Still, I admired the t-bar handle and the swivel of the head. The power indicator on both tools is always a plus.The trimmer is definitely not as powerful as some of the other trimmers I own but it gets the job done if you're just edging up a mustache or goatee. I don't see it mowing through heavy heavy bulk but it will get your beard down to the right length if you don't rush it and let it work. The inclusion of guards and a charger cable each is pretty great. The ergonomics of both tools is pretty good- feels decent on the hand and not too heavy or light. Overall, I would say the price for a cordless trimmer AND a triple foil shaver is not something to complain about. I myself don't foresee leaning on the shaver much because I own many but I definitely see myself including the trimmer in one of my emergency barber kits that I keep in my car.

I may have the worst beard and skin combination ever. My beard grows really quickly and resembles a hay field that's been dried under a desert sun. As soon as it sprouts, it itches because my skin is sensitive, which makes shaving an ordeal that I dread facing. I've been searching for an electric razor that's gentle yet effective, a combination that's eluded me but I keep on trying.I ordered this electric razor and beard trimmer set hoping that I'd found what I've been searching for, and I haven't been disappointed. The first thing I noticed was the solid heft of the razor, due to its metal housing. I like the 19th century design covering the razor: it really does resemble the cutting tools found in an old 19th century tonsorial parlor, but some may find the filigree workmanship slightly busy in appearance. I don't. It has a nice antiquarian look.The razor fits my hand comfortably and is easy to manipulate. I find that it cuts well and closely without irritation. That is something that I really appreciate. The razor and trimmer work well together. They charge via USB C and hold their charge for a reasonably long time.The razor is waterproof but I'm always uncomfortable rinsing any electrical device under water. I find that shaking it and using a soft cloth for cleaning purposes to be more than sufficient. The trimmer works well when I use it on my moustache. i find it easier than ever to trim it evenly, removing that slightly lopsided look that always appears after a trim. All-in-all, I'm quite pleased with this set.
