Great Headphones
I bought these for my granddaughter. Although she had a Bluetooth pair of headphones they were not compatible with what she needed at school. She says they are perfect! Without any prompting she told me that she hears everything very clearly. She loved the colors.

Back to School
These are an inexpensive option for the kids whose back-to-school supply lists include headphones for their Chromebooks. I needed 2 pairs and I see that a $3 off coupon was offered at time of purchase. So I have one pair that Vine sent me and one pair I bought, and with the coupon I spent less than I'd have had to pay at a big box store. It's an unbeatable value. The headphones seem fairly standard, with a folding feature that helps them store away easily. The soft over-the-ear covers are probably good enough to withstand the school year, but I'm not sure how much faith I'd have in using these every day for rigorous activity. The older child connected them to her iPad for a test run and seemed satisfied with the sound and volume, so I guess they're fine in this role. Without having used them myself I'm going to hazard a guess that these are far from "audiophile quality" but who knows. The kids are happy and that's all that matters, and if something happens to them at school the cost to replace is negligible. Bonus points for the fun color scheme. Kids apparently prefer not to be stuck with boring black if at all possible.

Way better than the school provided headphones
Our school district has a policy which allows only wired headphones to be present in the classrooms. Fair enough. I can see abuse with wireless for sure. The district also provides the headphones but a child is also welcome to bring their own. On a recent visit to our 3rd grader's classroom, I finally saw what those district provided headphones look like. They're the cheapest most basic things you can imagine. Our 3rd grader really struggled to show her project off because of how quiet and bad the sound was. The need for something better became apparent. This is where JoySpark headphones come in. A vast improvement over the school stuff. First of all, they're very light and very comfortable with quite a bit of flex in how they fit around the head. 85db limiter is nice but not critical for our use case. The sound quality is surprisingly decent. Not Bose by any stretch of imagination but not really not bad and mostly on par with other powered headphones, even though this one is not powered. The only thing that's really lacking is bass. Again, for my purposes here this is totally sufficient. At the price point of only $12 at the time of writing, you really cannot get something much cheaper, so the fact that these are comfy and have an OK sounds is great already.

Approved by 8 year old grandson
I have a grandson who, being a boy, tends to be a bit rambunctious. My daughter (his mother) has solved this problem by purchasing an iPad for him, along with headphones, and has him sit quietly and amuse himself. On the (rare) occasions that he's not in trouble and so has lost iPad privileges, this works well as a solution. Until recently, when he started complaining to me that his headphones had stopped working. Being the doting grandfather that I am, I felt it my duty to solve his problem (and spoil him a little) and so I picked up the JoySpark Wired Headphones for Kids. His impressions:- My grandson *loves* this headphone set! He claims that the sound from these headphones is much better than from his previous set.- The folding capabilities of the headphones makes it convenient to store and transport. However, knowing my grandson, he is prone to force the headphones when trying to fold them, so this is a likely point of failure. Don't tell him I said that!- He likes the color. I was afraid that the blue/sea foam color combination would be too baby-like for him, but he actually says that he likes the way it looks.- (Grandfather point) The price of this headset is *very* cost effective. If/when it fails, replacing it is inexpensive, exactly what you want from a kid's product. So there you have it. My grandson is satisfied with the headphones, my daughter is annoyed that I spoil my grandson so much, and I've got a win-win situation on my hands. Highly recommended!
