Nice set
I own a residential painting company and I obviously use a lot of brushes. While these are not to quality every day brushes, they are nice brushes for small jobs or for priming. The bristles hold up nicely and are relatively easy to clean. The handles are smooth and seem well made. For the price, you his is a great deal.

Excellent value!
Review for Bates Angle (Trim) Paint BrushesAt the time of this review, this 6 pc set of trim brushes was $5.99. This is an incredible value, priced more like a low-quality disposable brush than a precision brush. Trim brushes typically have a relatively stiff bristle that stops short of the tip, transitioning to a softer feathered tip for good control and flow. These follow that design, in a well-executed synthetic bristle. My first use was with an acrylic water-borne paint, cutting in around edges, corners, and obstructions, and it worked very well. I had no problem with loose bristles, common on some inexpensive brushes. Controlled paint application worked the same as the more expensive trim brushes I've been using. The only place where the low price point shows is the handles. A couple of these had very minor flaws in the wood, but nothing structural. The description says the handles are 'treated', but they look and feel like bare wood, sanded to a feathery texture, but not painted. I'm a little bit undecided about this approach: I normally clean my brushes and reuse them many times, and a painted or plastic handle is far easier to clean. Nothing really wrong with these, other than my expectations, since the handle being stained with some paint has absolutely no bearing on the function of the brush. On the other hand, these handles have a very nice 'grippy' texture that's missing on a smooth-finished handle, which is really useful when you're trimming.

Not great quality for painting walls.
As an ex professional painter for 13 years, I would not recommend these for painting walls. Grabbed them for a recent job I did for a friend. Had bristles coming out and had a hard time cutting a nice corner or holding paint for as long as they should. Fine for projects maybe, but I found another pack that worked better for a similar price and ended up grabbing a couple high quality brushes for the important parts of the job.

Very nice paint brushes
We are renovating our home and have a lot of painting to do. When I saw the #Bates- Paint Brushes, 6 Pack, 1", 1.5", 2", Angle Brushes, Treated Wood Handle in my feed I ordered them. The paint brushes come in multiple sizes. The small ones are especially useful when you need to get into tight corners. The larger ones are useful for larger areas. The handles feel like they are unfinished wood, but it doesn't matter to me. It is the quality of the paintbrush that is more important. The paint brushes all work great. They cover well. I have used them a lot and they width stand multiple cleanings. I am happy with these paintbrushes and recommend them for larger areas and tight spaces.

Bates- Paint Brushes
The Bates- Paint Brushes seem like a really good quality. I was so happy to see these and a whole set was nice. The wood handles are lightweight and the brush is soft, but strong. I would think they are as good as any others I've purchased from big box stores over the years.
