I was super skeptical of this inexpensive shaver. However, after 5 minutes of use, I realized it shaves better than many more expensive brands. Easy to clean, shaves nearly “blade” close. Really impressed!

I have reviewed dozens of these no-name cordless multi-purpose shaving kits. Amazon is loaded with them. Most of them are extremely similar, outside of cosmetics--and they're almost all made in the same few factories. Almost all the older multi-head shavers (5-10 heads) have a serious Achilles heel: The central head of the rotary head shaving attachment is difficult to remove, doesn't float, and can't hold much hair before it needs to be cleaned.Recently, a new style of rotary head attachment has appeared that is attached to the shaver via strong magnets. This is a tremendous improvement. The entire thing easily snaps on/off--held in place by those magnets. When it snaps off, you have immediate access to the clipped hair reservoir. This has a significant advantage over shavers with the old style heads: You can easily remove all the shaver heads for cleaning up hair that's been shaved. Until you've dealt with the old style heads, you won't appreciate how much of a benefit this is. But, trust me, this is so much more convenient.Now, there are two styles of magnetic head attachments I've tested. The first, like this, does not provide much float for the center head. The other heads can adjust to the contours of your face (see photos), but the center head is pretty much stuck in place. A second style of magnetic head provides float for the center head, as well.This shaver offers the first type of shaving block (magnetic attachment, fixed center head).As for whether six heads is better than the 3 that you normally find on shavers from Norelco and others? I don't find that. Part of the issue is probably that the shaver motor doesn't increase in terms of torque when you add more heads, so each head gets proportionately less power. More heads, but less power to each head--it's a trade-off.The downside of the head unit on this shaver (shared with the older style 5-10 head shavers) is that it's fully integrated, so it appears you have to replace the entire head assembly when it gets dull. It's not clear to me where you would get a head like this on the 3rd party market yet, or what it might cost.The only accessories that comes with this shaver are a USB charging cord and a small cleaning brush. This is different than a lot of shavers of this type, which come with interchangable attachments for nose trimming, hair trimming, and face cleaning. But those attachments (except for the nose hair attachment) are generally pretty terrible or useless, and they are not missed here.The shaver is controlled via a simple on/off button. There's a soft lockout mode (for travel) that you can activate with a 3s push. You get 90 minutes run time with a 90 minute charge.The device is relatively big and chunky but feels comfortable in the hand if you have a larger hand.On the whole, the magnetic rotary hair cutter is the main attraction here, and it's fine. If you're gonna get a kit like this, I strongly recommend picking one (like this) where that attachment is held on magnetically. All in all it makes for a smooth shave! I can't say I had zero Knicks or cuts, but the really is that your scalp probably isn't perfectly smooth (mine sure isn't) so you're likely to have a few with any razor. Pro tip: use it in a hot shower and, just like with your face, the steam will help you avoid Knicks and reduce any razor burn. Factor in the very reasonable price, and I think this is a good buy.

I really enjoyed the design and size of this shaver. The compartment that traps cut hair is spacious so it didn’t clog up and have to be emptied halfway through a shave as some other shavers I’ve had in the past. Great battery life and my absolute favorite part is that this shaver didn’t pinch and pull my hair but instead cut everything like a dream with no snagging.

First of all, I am female and I hate shaving my legs, so sometimes I don't. My hair is very fine and thin, but I have muscular legs and that makes it more difficult to shave using a traditional razor. I also often get razor burn no matter what I use so I thought I'd try one of these and see if I like the results. So far I love it! I can easily shave my legs and it is fast. This shaver is also easy to open so you can empty the hair and clean it out. It also has really long battery life.My only qualms so far are:It is a little too large for my small hands and somewhat difficult to hold.Where do I purchase replacement blades??? There's no info included on that.Also, my son regularly shaves his head using a much more expensive skull shaver. I told him to try this. His opinion is that this works fine as long as your hair is very short (like stubble), but it doesn't seem to be as sharp as the brand name shaver he's been using for years.

I have shaved my head with a razor for the past 15 years. I picked this up to give it a try and see if it would help for days that I just wanna trim it back down. After trying it I’m convinced it is the easiest way to shave on the go or in a quick pinch. It is just like an electric face razor in the you still have some stubble, but it really gives the appearance of a shaved head and that’s all you need. This will not replace my regular razor, but I plan on using this weekly as well. It is so easy to use and clean. It charges with USB-C and the blades attach magnetically. When you’re done shaving, you pull them off easily and rinse them underwater then you leave the blades out to dry and put it back on the razor the next morning . The razor is very easy to hold, and the power button is not easy to accidentally bump and turn off, which is a huge plus for me. It’s not very loud. It sounds just like an electric face razor. It only took me less than five minutes to shave my head with it, and you can use a shaving cream or shave it dry as well. This is absolutely an awesome addition to your grooming kit. I would definitely recommend it and the price is awesome. I have seen several that are way more costly. It says to replace the head 6 to 12 months so when mine does get dolled down, I will pick up a new head replacement for it but 6 to 12 months sounds fine. Very happy so far!
