My husband is an avid butterfly knife collector and enthusiast. He was sooo surprised by this — mostly because most knives not by an original maker, the knife doesn’t move well. This one, surprisingly, does. It moves well, looks great. Really good bang for your buck.

As can be seen in one of the product photos, this trainer uses BEARINGS rather than BUSHINGS as the product name/description claims. Otherwise, it flips OK and is simply "Yet Another Cheap Aluminum Amazon Balisong Trainer from China" (hence, the 3-star "average" rating). If you understand that is what you're getting, then it is an "OK" purchase - it is not "bad". If you are new to the hobby you should know that Bearings balisongs have a distinctly different feel to Bushings balisongs. For just $10 more you can get the much nicer bushings-based Canyon Balisong from Nabalis here on Amazon. I ordered this because I am a collector and also a sucker for inexpensive (but OK) balisongs and it has become something of a game for me to find these things on Amazon and snag them before they disappear. Worst case scenario, I end up giving it to my grandson (who flips way better than I do anyway :-)

This is my first flip tool and I am glad I finally got one…it is really fun especially if you are a fidgeter.
