Everyone needs to read this book.
Wel I stumbled across this book as I was looking for G Edward Griffin's book on the Fed, "The Creature from Jekyll Island".As I've got older but definitely not wiser, I have always started to question lots of things in life. What's reported in the news I take with a pinch of salt. What politicians say, well basically I don't trust them as they are only looking out for themselves. This book hasn't opened my eyes on government or politics, but has opened my eyes on the medical profession. We all know that the world is run by the heads of the largest corporations, which finance the politicians who tell us what we can or not do in our lifes. But for them to influence the medical world in finding a cure for cancer that is found in nature that has no monetary value (profit) over manufactured drugs, surgery, radiation poisoning (huge profits) is disgusting. This book informs you on how the world is run where power, money and greed is the number one priority. I can't wait to read "The Creature from Jekyll Island" now.

i endorse this with all my heart
this book by Edward Griffin tracks the sorry tale of the culpable neglect and virtual murder of all our relatives and friends who have died because of the deficiency disease that is cancer. the cure is simply nutritional elements in food that have always been available. I cross referenced this work with Culpeppers herbal, hich also was recommending the foods that contain B17, hundreds of years ago.Amygdalin , a substance related to Cyanide but not poisonous in the body upon digestion. this substance stops the 'onrush of life' that goes unchecked. the scientist who worked on this most noted how like those cell developments in cancer were to the development of the cells around the fertilised egg in pregnancy. The reason the cancer cells proliferated , and didn't automatically stop when sufficient new cells were formed ( the body's natural self healing) was a defiency which prevented the destruction of the cell. that deficiency is of Amygdalin , Nitrilosides present in foods like bitter almond kernels, peach cherry and plum kernels, and many other natural foods. also in apple and pear seeds, the bits we habitually throw away. The Hunza nation had no cancer at that time, their prime product was hunza apricots , they used the oil , fruit and pounded kernels as staple food. Also the Eskimo in the 50's were without significant cancer in their population. the Caribou meat came from animals who foraged eating nitriloside rich grasses and other substances.there is not cancer found in animals who have foraged in the wild. Cancer is found in household and domestic pets , restricted by western, profit motivated diets. The biggest ordeal is not in knowing htis and reading this and other related wonderful books, but in getting your beloved friends and family to pay attention, when they are in the hands of the medics, who are trained by the offending drug companies and who prescribe only those drugs tested by those companies.B17 , the miraculous gift of god, or creation, present as was Vit C, which cured Scurvy and Vit B , in Liver and Yeast, which cured Pelagra both deficiency diseases which cruelly killed us in earlier generations when we became distanced from good food sources in the industrial revolution and other difficult conditions like seafaring and wartime( Pelagra death was preceded by acute madness and was thought to be caused by contagion by the mainstream). These now simply achieved cures were also ridiculed and persecuted by the medical and drug producing agencies. Like the Ice cream wars and the Mafia in prohibition. these huge powerful agencies ran multi billion pound empires around cancer. It is an industry and more people are living off these treatments than people who are cured by them. They can't afford to see a cure in our good earth, given freely at our fingertips for the children of the earth. It took 50 or more years after the discover of the cures for it to be accepted by mainstream practitioners.the cure for cancer has been known from folk medicine thorugh generations, since the 50's there have been doctors and many others expounding the learning, and successful clinical trials.this book tracks the sorry tale, but thankfully reveals the protection. the really hard part is getting those that desperately need this knowledge to listen, when they are urged by the medical profession to partake of the burning cutting and poisoning , and expensive attention form those who promote such treatment as a cure, which clearly doesn't work.I pray that more and more people will try using the cures of nature and most importantly now, B17 and nutritionally healing ourselves. lets also fight for the protection of our earth, the seas and our sustenance. linda weir

Misery means money: An exposé of one side of the genocidal profiteering of the pharmaceutical industry.
Since the first half of the last century, multiple studies have shown that laetrile acts as a potent control against the growth and proliferation of cancer cells. Laetrile is the concentrated form and official name of what is referred to as vitamin B-17, which occurs in the seeds of certain types of fruit, as well as in various grasses. In this highly readable exposé, first published in 1974, the (predictably) maligned G. Edward Griffin cool-headedly details the horrifying success with which the American pharmaceutical industry, through the aegis of the Food and Drug Administration, continues its savage repression of this life-saving – and, significantly, non-patentable – nutrient, in the interests of sustaining and increasing the colossal profits made from synthetic (and often extremely harmful) medications and drugs. Over and over it must be stressed that, in the specific area of cancer, the consequences of the unrestrained profiteering that characterizes the drug companies is, in essence and in ugly actuality, genocidal. This is something the author of this exhaustive study demonstrates, while simultaneously endeavouring, with calm compassion and patience, to dismantle the stubborn assumptions that lead the majority to suppose that surely nothing as unsophisticated as pure remedies can possibly circumvent or counter-act such a formidable-seeming disease as cancer, and that nothing as simple as a nutritional deficiency can cause it. It is just such assumptions as these that the drug companies have for decades cleverly, and most lucratively, fostered and encouraged. For in the vast, complex, and murky world of synthetic medication, terminal illness, and the fear of it, secures the all-important bottom line. (Vis-à-vis this wretched phenomenon, I am reminded of one drug-pushing psychiatrist acquaintance who once in my presence openly and contemptuously said of his patients, “Their misery is my money.”)Describing cancer as simply another deficiency disease such as scurvy (caused by a vitamin C deficiency), and pellagra (caused by insufficient vitamin B), Griffin states, “The reality of the vitamin B-17 concept of cancer has been proven in the laboratory beyond any doubt.” Those who continue to doubt must bear in mind that there is no cancer at all among the Hunza, a Himalayan tribe which subsists on foods rich in vitamin B-17; as well as the many, many case-histories of those cancer patients in the western world who have been treated with laetrile with complete success.Reading this valuable book could mark the start of one’s being freed from those aforementioned long-entrenched assumptions which imperil us; certainly any thinking person with a concern for his own well-being and that of those he loves cannot fail to find the contents worthy of deep and prolonged consideration, and ultimately be impelled by them to engage in further independent exploration into the powerfully health-promoting laetrile – either as a medicinal compound, or as the natural food-component B-17 – which both the avaricious CEOs of the drugs companies and the politicians slavishly working at their behest are, in effect, so murderously desperate to keep hidden from us.
