This is a great first camera for kids. It says from 3 years, and my 3 year old granddaughter can use it proficiently unaided (after been shown how to use it initially). The camera isn’t charged, so if it’s a gift I recommend you charge the camera first (it seems to retain its charge well). The memory card is already in the camera.Photos can be saved to the memory card or printed on the scroll - the print out is pretty decent. Another recommendation is to buy additional paper - although the scroll is a good size, an enthusiastic child will quickly finish it!Well boxed and delivered (Amazon courier) next day.Overall, would definitely recommend as a first camera for a child from 3 years.

I bought this as a cheaper alternative for a childs present.I didn't expect much, but this is a seriously impressive camera for the price.It takes photos, records videos, you can upload MP3's to play music. it's even got a small selection of games.Enough to keep a child entertained for a good while.The printing quality is decent enough for the price - and the paper refills are cheap.It's no Polaroid - but it's not junk either.
