Was unsure about ordering these to sit on table for a party. They are lovely when lit up. Just need two batteries. Good design to sit on table, shelf etc, also can be screwed on to wall.

We hosted my partner's 40th birthday and used these free-standing "40" light-up numbers to spruce up the house. Each number is powered by 2x AA batteries and stands at about 22cm tall, which makes them a good size for table displays or backdrops. There are also two holes in the back allowing you to wall mount if you so desire.The glow is subtle, which won't be noticeable in a well-lit or even a moderately bright room. For best effect, these numbers really glow best in dim or dark environments, where their warm light creates a cosy atmosphere. It's a simple design which makes them easy to incorporate into various party settings, but bear in mind that they’re more decorative than functional as a light source.Operation is as simple as it gets, with a straightforward on/off switch on the back of each number. Once switched on, the lights emit a soft, warm white glow. These are static lights - there's no pulsing or twinkling, just a gentle, steady light.

Not put batteries in yet but this looks like a good size. ideally for table centre piece.

This pair of number LED lights arrive boxed together in a kraft brown box with a clear front measuring approx 23.5cm x 16.5cm x 9.5cm.The numbers look exactly like the product images and require 2 x AA batteries for each letter (not included).The battery access does not require undoing a screw, so keep away from young children as they can fairly easily access the batteries.They have an on/off switch on the back, plus 2 holes for hanging them if you want to wall mount them.Each number will happily stand up on it's own if you just want to put them on a shelf or other surface.The light they give off is a warm white and they look great.As each number is separate, you could add to a collection over time and be able to make up any number you wanted, so there is a potential to reuse them in the future.

This is great – a nice alternative to a banner, and a simple but striking design for a birthday table. They're very light and super easy to just pop in two AA batteries (not included). And switch on, voila! The lights are quite yellow rather than bright white as pictured in the ad, but it looks cool.

I got these numbers to celebrate mine and my husband’s upcoming big birthdays.They are a little smaller than I expected, but then I should have looked at the description rather just looking at the photos which always make things look bigger 🤣Each number takes 2 AA batteries, and the numbers light up in more of a yellowy white than cool white.After use, I may buy 2 x number 2’s and reuse them at new year to make 2025! 🤣
