For $25, it's a really awesome travel and/or portable grinder
First, the look of this little gadget is lovely. Like a cream color, and I love it.Second, the build is of high quality, especially given its price point. The pieces come together nicely, and don't simply fall apart from one another, as cheaper items can.Third, the grind, is both wide and versatile, and wonderfully accurate btw, in dialing in grind size. It also produces a very consistent result, which really surprised me. It has a ceramic burr core, and it is via this adjustment and central grinder that you get such a nice result.Fourth, the rechargeable battery makes it ideal for taking on the road, or even just being able to move it about a house or an office. (Don't lose it, now!)Fifth, the only real downside to this item, and it's just something to keep in mind, is the grinding is slooooow. Slow. Really slow. It took about two minutes to grind through two tablespoons of beans. Again, the result is fantastic, so worth the wait. At the same time, start the grind first, then go brush your teeth. Then pour out the grinds, push play on your coffee maker, and finish the ablutions. :DLastly, it has about a half pot or 6 cup capacity, as I read it. I mean, I imagine you can work a thin, 10 cup pot, but you're really pushing it a bit. It'll probably do it, but your maxing it out, and I wonder at what outcome of a spill, all too likely, might result.Oh, one last suggestion, definitely put a sprickle of water on the beans before grinding. All the plastic parts love static, and unless you want your counter covered in bean dust, this is a strong recommendation.Love, love this grinder. It beats out similar devices 2-3 times its cost.

Best one yet
Like a lot of coffee lovers, I've tried lots of grindersāhand-cranked, rotary-blade, burrāand I eventually got rid of them all. Then I decided to give this one a try. After charging it up for a couple of hours, I decided to grind a batch of coffee. I generally grind only enough coffee for a reusable K-cup, setting the grind at a about medium. I had to "bump" it gently to help the beans flow into the grinder. Other than that, I just let the grinder do its thing. What surprised me was the almost complete absence of static in the ground coffee. A few grounds were clinging to the side of the clear plastic, but at least it didn't fly around and make a mess, as most of the others had done. That has always been the problem for me with burr grinders and even some blade grinders. It's not as fast as the larger (fancy) burr grinder I got rid of, but it is much, much quieter and does a more even job of grinding the coffee. I can actually grind coffee while someone else sleeps in!I love the elegant simplicity of the design and the great job this machine does. I also like the fact that It's rechargeable and doesn't need to be plugged in to use it. If it turns out to be durable, too, I can't ask for anything more.UPDATE: I've been using this grinder most mornings and it is a delight. I don't think I'd like it as much if I had to grind enough for a large pot of coffee, but this is perfect for me.

Great little electric coffee bean grinder
I like this grinder a lot. It arrived at least partially charged and after I washed it, adjusted the grind setting, and added beans, it ground the beans very well! Iām surprised and pleased that it has a ceramic burr-type grinder. I hadnāt noticed that before I ordered it.It was easy to assemble, to adjust the grind, and to clean. Itās lightweight, compact, and easy to store and transport too. It doesnāt grind as much coffee as the electric one we use everyday but that one isnāt in any way portable. The hopper in this one takes 25g of coffee. I weighed my beans and 25g = 1/2 cup of beans. Which made plenty of ground coffee for two good-sized cups.I ordered it for use while traveling and also to keep in our emergency supplies area. A cup of coffee in the morning, made in the unfussy way I like it best, is so enjoyable. The advice we received is that it helps a lot to be able to retain even a tiny a bit of ānormalcyā and something that brings a little comfort and enjoyment during a natural disaster.Recommended!

Surprisingly effective at minimal cost
The media could not be loaded. I grind a ton of coffee beans, so I have a few different grinders. When I first took this one out of the box, I had myself convinced it wouldn't measure up to my heavier, pricier units. It's plastic at the top and pretty lightweight. Surprisingly, this little grinder did a fabulous job. What they don't advertise, for some reason, is it is a steel burr grinder. At this pricepoint (around $25 at the time of my review) you can't beat it.It is much quieter than my other ones, and grinds beans just as quickly. There is a nice range of coarseness that is pretty accurate and easy to dial in. Overall, great tool at a great price that is easy to use.
