I got the small because I feel like I’m suffocating deep in the bigger ones. I’m a pretty small person though (about 120lbs). I’m able to see a good amount of my surroundings easily when I’m laying in it which is nice. I go on my own solo adventures a lot and buying a hammock was much overdue. Happy to have gotten it!

Large, very comfortable. Enjoyed it very much while it lasted. We left it hanging on our property for a few weeks and It did not hold up to the weather well. I was sitting in it and it just ripped on me. It didn't show any evidence of wear when this happened.So i would say great buy if you will be using periodically. I'd say not made to leave out and use long term.

Bought this as my first hammock but my wife and her family have hammock camped alot. To start off she tested it out and loved it. Then it came to me, i was worried as i weighed 425lbs but man it held me good with no problem, the only problem i had was getting out of the hammock and that was my fault not the hammocks lol

We've enjoyed and ordered two of these hammocks, one medium (one person) and one large (two people). Get the large two person version in almost all circumstances is my personal advice.My family all agree (from 60 lbs 8 year old boy to 190 lbs adult male) that the large version is more comfortable to be in. There are no downsides to going with the large version. It takes up no extra space when packed and weighs almost the same as the medium version (less than 5% difference at roughly 600 g for both versions as measured by our kitchen scale). You can also wrap the large one around you (with one person in it) to keep out insects or sun which even my 8 year old couldn't do with the medium one.Now for the rest of the review. The straps are amongst the longest you can get and they work well and are easy and quick to use. They easily adjust from no feet (simply by repeatedly wrapping the strap around the tree) to a little bit less than the maximum (obviously the circumference of the tree will reduce the effective strap length).The parachute material seems strong enough to hold me (190 lbs male) and at least one of my children (up to 90 lbs). It is comfortable. Provided you treat it carefully and keep it away from sharp objects it should hold up nicely for a number of years. And, if the hammock ever breaks you'll always have the straps which by themselves could be used with other hammocks.PS 4 out of 5 stars because the medium version is not as good as the large and the description doesn't make that clear.

I got my first one on July 2nd for a camping trip. My husband used it more than me so I ended up getting one for him too!My husband is a large man and this hammock has held up over the past year so well.I love having them on all our camping trips and they are well worth the money.Sturdy, comfy, well built, light and compact.
