My daughter and I are beginning some cake decorating and this is a great set to start with. The turn table was pretty smooth and there are plenty of accessories for our type of projects. I’m happy with it!

I got this for my crafty daughter and her little girl, my 11 y.o. granddaughter. They love cooking together and I was hoping they could use this to make some fancy cakes. They are excited to use it. Made me very happy to give it to them!

With ten daughters, 2 sons and a family full and continuing to grow with marriages and grandchildren, birthdays are a big deal around here. This Syntus 79-piece cake decorating kit has been a real lifesaver (not to mention a creativity booster!) when it comes to making those celebrations extra special.The kit has everything we need to create beautiful cakes. The rotating cake turntable makes frosting so easy and fun, and the variety of piping tips allows for endless decorating possibilities. I'm still getting the hang of all the different techniques, but even my early attempts have impressed the family. The kids love getting involved, and it's been a fun way to bond with them in the kitchen.  The quality of the tools seems quite good for the price. The piping tips are sturdy, and the spatulas are flexible yet strong enough to handle thicker frostings. The turntable is stable and rotates smoothly, making it easy to achieve even frosting and intricate designs. The kit also includes a good number of piping bags, which is handy for those times when you don't want to wash them right away (a frequent occurrence in our busy household!).While I've only used the kit a handful of times since it arrived, I'm already planning all sorts of creations for upcoming birthdays and holidays. I'm especially excited to try my hand at some of the more intricate flower designs with the various piping tips. The kit even includes a pattern booklet and an eBook with helpful instructions and inspiration.  If I could enhance this kit, perhaps adding a few more specialized tools like a fondant smoother or a sculpting tool would be beneficial. However, for the price, this Syntus cake decorating kit offers a fantastic value and a comprehensive set of tools for both beginners and more experienced decorators. We're thrilled with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys adding a personal touch to their baked creations.

There are a lot of items in this kit. I can't imagine anyone needing anything else to decorate a cake!

This nifty turntable works really well. I like this because also included in the box are decorating frosting piping bags and tips. Works really well. It’s made of plastic but very sturdy. Great for beginners. Great item for the price!

This is a good cake decorating kit and it actually did a great job, but the only problem is that the timble is too small and definitely should've been bigger. The turnable stand works very well, flexible, etc. Other than that one con, it is a good kit.

I am very impressed with this set as it has everything you need to start decorating cakes. Even though the turntable is plastic, it is very sturdy, spins smoothly, and it has a rubber attachment on the base to keep it in place. (Flip it over and it stores almost everything neatly in the bottom.) This set comes with a cake slicer/leveler that is adjustable, two spatulas, more tips than I will every use, and frosting bags. The only things that I think could be improved is the smoothers (kinda cheap) and a bigger base for making flowers, as it isn't very wide.
