All-CladStainless Steel Saucepan Cookware, 3-Quart, Silver

The price. It was a splurge. Then I see the sticker on the bottom of the pot. It's the best quality. Manufacturersuggested retail price was not honored. Not a good feeling.

I used this pan the day I received it. It's such a quality pan! I've wanted All Clad pans forever and finally I bought two of this size. I already burned the bottom of the inside because I turned the burner to low rather than off, eek! It cleaned up beautifully. LOVE this pan, will buy more sizes :)

Nice, solid, heavy pan that cleans up as easily as a non-stick, in my opinion. I use a soft baby-bottle brush to clean them and have not put them in the dishwasher. I don't see a need to. I use them and then wash them and put them back on the pot rack. I bought some of the stainless steel Barkeeper's Friend cleaner and have used that when I let the pan sit overnight and the left-over spinach in it caused discoloration. I got the steamer insert for this, too. I have used this pan at least once a day, if not twice a day, and I have not noticed any problem with the handle getting hot. I've bought over the last 30 years Revere Ware copper bottom and Calphalon anodized non-stick, and this All-Clad out-performs both of those by a long shot. My only regret is that I waited so long to invest in this cookware.

While I have a nagging suspicion that this is not a genuine All Clad product (the design is different from my neighbor's pan which was purchased at the same time at an upscale kitchen shop), I am still exceedingly happy with it. It is solidly constructed (the handle gets a bit hot) and cooks evenly. It cleans up well. I have no complaints at all, and if I were certain it was genuine, it would have rated it with all five stars. But, does that really matter if it works to expectations? That's up to you, I guess.

I recently bought an induction range, so I had to overhaul my cookware. I was attracted to All Clad b/c of the quality and reputation. The 3 Q saucepan is a great everyday pan. It fits the 8" steamer or double-boiler insert (Amazon is one of the few stores that carriers either insert piece!!!).I've owned multi-ply pots and Calphlon before, and I will attest that All-clad has incredible conductivity. It almost gets too hot too quickly.I recommend All-Clad for anyone who is getting induction cooktop or induction range. A-mazing.

This 'All Clad' pot, and all other all clad pots are the finest cooking equipment one can buy. Not only are they attractive to view on the stove, they disperse the heat evenly so that the cooking is throughout. I have this pot in every known size that they make and I wouldn't cook and anything else other than these pots. And on top of all it's heat conduction's, it is very easy to clean and polish up again after each use. What you try this fabulous cook where you will be addicted to it as am.

I bought this 3 qt. saucepan with the steamer insert for my wife who is an avid cook. I've slowly been replacing her old beat up pans with nicer ones. This was my second All Clad purchase. But, I must say it will be my last.... after I return it, that is. Imagine my surprise when she opened the pan and the insert on X-mas morning, and they did not fit together.... Are you serious?? These are very expensive pans, and are supposed to be used together. Unfortunately, the handle studs on the inside of the suacepan prevent the steamer inset from coming anywhere close to seating these pans together.... Again... NOT EVEN CLOSE! How is it possible that such an inexpensive product line, let alone one of the MOST EXPENSIVE would sell a product with this flaw?? I must say, I am at a loss. But, on thing I can say, for sure, is that I HAVE 'LOST ALL FAITH' in "ALL CLAD". After this return, I will never again waste my hard earned dollars on a company that would produce a product with that lack of oversight/engineering, or whatever the cause of this defect.

I don't know how they do it and it certainly is not cheap but all-clad rules. Cooks great, cleans nearly as easily as non-stick without the delicacy and looks like new 2 years later. Bought some for my 80 plus year old mother who has used Rever-ware for 55 years and she raves about it.
