The Michel Mercier Hair Root Touch Up Spray is a fantastic product for quickly and easily covering up grey hair. Its unique applicator ensures precise application, protecting the hairline and scalp. Let's start with the applicator. Previous products that I have used did not come with the applicator this product comes with. I love it!! It really helps so you don't get overspray on your face or clothes. The smell is quite lovely too. It does have more of a masculine smell but it's very nice. Not overpowering. A spritz of body spray or perfume will cover it, if you don't like it. Make sure to shake this product well before using.I have dark red hair naturally with white hairs (not grey) by my temples. The whites don't hold color for very long so something like this product is very helpful. Especially since I'm not ready to go white yet and I only have the whites by my temples. I have been bleaching my face line to start bringing a reddish-blondish-yellow tone to mask the whites coming in. That way it's not such a hard blow when I get more whites and start letting it go natural.This product covered my whites amazingly. Some didn't get coverage but that's ok. Its operator error. Also, the pictures are after washing my hair and the directions say to not use it on wet hair. It was early morning, and I had to wash my hair before work. So that's that. I have tried this product on dry hair and had the same great coverage.The only con with this product is that it does wear off easily. That's a good thing when you put too much on the scalp and need to rug it off. But not a good thing when you forget that you have this on, go to the gym, and get all sweaty. It did NOT run down my face or neck. It just wore off and maybe blended into the length of my hair after my scalp was sweaty. Either way, still worth it to me.

This root hair touch up by Michel Mercier has a great applicator. It really helps put the spray exactly where you want it and helps prevent it from going all over you and the surfaces around you. The light brown color blends well with my medium brown hair and the gray coverage is better than average. My only concern is that it never seems to dry permanently. It will rub off on your fingers all day long if you touch it. I used a hair dryer on it as suggested and it did seem to help a bit, but it still rubbed off when I touched my head. While I like the color and the coverage, I'm not sure I like dealing with all the smudging. It would be the perfect product if it set properly.

The Michel Mercier root touch up spray in dark brown is well pigmented and covers the root well. Because this is a spray, the protector helps a lot especially along the hairline. I recommend using this at the sink with a mirror. So the pigmented spray can deposit onto the right place and can be easily cleaned up.

Unlike other sprays, which can be messy, this spray provides controlled and even coverage, minimizing excess product that gets onto your skin or clothing. The applicator allows me to accurately target the roots, making it perfect for quick touch-ups before heading out. The spray blends seamlessly with my natural hair color , giving it a natural, unobtrusive look.It dries quickly without leaving any sticky or heavy feeling on my hair.

I like to squeeze in few extra weeks before going back to the salon, and root touch-up is the answer! This product has a unique guide which not only helps you aim in the right direction, but concentrates the spray, so you are not coloring your part and scalp as well. My friend showed me how she holds a pencil over her part while she sprayed her roots. This applicator makes it way easier, and can be done with one hand. The only drawback is you have to remove the applicator to place the cap back on. The color seems to last until I wash my hair again.

I can’t even fault the product for not matching perfectly, the color is as depicted, and it’s been impossible to find a perfect root touch up match for my hair color and tone. This is the closest I’ve seen yet. It does cover my gray roots and fills in the sparse area where I have mostly baby hairs. If I could find a perfect match this formula and application would be my perfect/favorite root touch up method yet.

I like how easily this applies instant color to my beard, however, I find that it will rub off if my beard touches anything. Leaves a stain on my collar and such. Overall, if you need a quick touch-up, this will do the trick.
