Rub with Love Chinese 12 Spice Rub by Tom Douglas, 3.5 Ounce

OMG, this Chinese 12 Spice is da BOMB! I often claim it's my "secret spice" condiment to surprised dining guests as I've been using it for years. Can't ask for a better spice combo for salmon, bar none (including their own "salmon rub"). When adding to other meats, a little really goes a long way so that you do not over-power the meats. Please be aware that the main ingredient is brown sugar which can/will brown/burn rather quickly.I'm so impressed w/ the mastery of their blended spices that I've since bought several other mixed spiced products by "Rub with Love". You really can't beat the amount you get (3.5 oz.) for under $10.

love this spice rub, especially on chicken and pork. Good flavoring and smell. Grills up nicely on pork & chicken. 2nd time buying and use it often. Not too salty or sugary

I used this 12-spice mix when I whipped-up an improvised cashew butter sauce for a Chinese dish. I started by adding a small amount of the powder, but I couldn't detect much flavor in the resulting sauce. I kept adding more and more powder until I could finally taste it. The end result was OK, but just keep in mind that you may need to use a lot of the spice mix to adequately flavor your dish.

I love this stuff. If you're familiar with Chinese Five Spice powder, that is what this rub is based on. I love five spice and this rub has just the right amount. Sweet, savory and exotic, this rub is winner on salmon, shrimp & chicken. I've sprinkled it on french fries as well. I just wish they made this in the larger tub.

Delicious flavor, my favorite of the TD rubs. I love it on chicken and rice.
