This is a very sharp knife. The assisted open was very tight at first but it broke in quickly to be a nice secure knife which a very snappy open. The blade came extremely sharp and although I do not use a knife as much as I used too has remained very sharp with light to moderate use. This thing is very solid, perhaps a bit bulky if you use the pocket clip attachment but it fits in the hand more securely then other knives of similar style and features I have owned.

The SWMP3B has a very competent, smooth action and seems very strong and durable. I am not one to put a knife through a lot of rough treatment and I've only had it a couple of months but I am well satisfied with it so far and would definitely recommend it for light to medium use. It is definitely a great bang for the buck.

I love these knives because of the quality and the Kanto design plus the assist opening makes it so easy to open. It’s also easy to close with one hand. I have purchased numerous of these knives and have given these as gifts to friends and contractors who do excellent work around my house. The true testimony is when these people come back to my house they are carrying and using them. They all say they love them and it’s one of the best knives they’ve had.

This pocket knife is very well made. It is a little hard to open but there is a tension screw you can loosen. The pocket clip is extremely tight and cannot be loosened. This makes it hard to remove from pocket. Overall great knife

ConsBlack coating on the knife easily comes off be careful when using it.The assist to open lever takes to much force to open knife. It has outlived what I expected. The edge still slices paper easily after several months of use. It has been exposed to water, dirt, somewhat-high acidity, and it will still take a chunk out of my finger if I'm not careful. The clip is used almost daily and just as tight as the day I bought it. The switch is also tight, almost like it still needs to be broken in. The only complaint is that the clip and trigger remained as stiff as the day I bought it! I saw the same knife at Dick's for $35. I don't know if this is a knock-off - probably is - but it's great freaking quality. If the real thing is any better it'll last a lifetime. I've used this almost every day for 5 months and it still slices a tomato without crushing it. Just requires moving back and forth a tad compared to brand new. Oh yeah, daily wear an tear only make it look cooler. I'm afraid to sharpen, though, cuz the blade will cease to be black. That is the only thing I haven't tested, is how it handles sharpening. So far, its sharper than any steak knife I ever used.

I got this is a gift for a friend and he absolutely loves it, this knife is very sturdy and you can feel it in its weight. The switch was a little stiff out of the package but after some breaking in it is a lot easier to engage now. It looks very clean and the blade was sharp right out of the box, and lastly the window breaking stud on the base is a nice bonus.
