It seems like with “virtual albums” and electronic frames, we don’t print out digital photos as much as we used to. I miss going through picture albums like this when I get together with family - crowding around someone’s phone just isn’t the same. Plus - purely digital pictures don’t last -you can’t look at an old SD card to see what’s on it, and who knows if that format will even exist 20 years from now.Those are just a few reasons I decided to get this album. It’s got a very nice linen cover, the pages are very easy to attach your pictures, and the plastic that covers them is nice and clear. It’s perfect for the stick-on letters I got to use for titles and captions.I think that this will make a wonderful keepsake when you fill it with pictures - and perhaps it might spur a family member to start one if you give it as a gift. You will not be disappointed.

Bought to make a scrapbook after my grandmother passed away. Everything was as expected and very nice quality. Would purchase again.

Pros: Has a good amount of pages which are thick enough for gluing scrapbook paper and photos to. I woukd probably recommend using the purple glue sticks instead of a liquid glue because I haven't tested the types of glue yet. There is also a good amount of space for expansion, once you start gluing paper and photos the thickness inside will expand. The material on the cover has a nice feel to it. I think it would be easy to use for someone starting out. Cane with double sided tape which was awesome!Cons: I don't like the thickness of the cover. It does feel a little flimsy in my opinion. It would be a nice touch if there were ringlet covers to protect each sheet but you can always add these if you want on your own.

The description is accurate - the paper is nice and thick and a decent black. I normally make layouts that go into a sleeve then an album, but every once in a while, I like to make something different (and maybe a little old school). This kit is perfect for collage pages, mixed media (especially with metallic inks, pencils sprays, etc.), and - of course - photos. When I fill this one, I plan to get another!

This scrapbook is a nice size for what I want and I like how it looks. I’m glad the yellow color isn’t too yellow, it’s honestly more of a tan color than yellow which is nice. It’s a fabric outside and the front has a slot where you can put a title or a photo. It comes with a lot of paper inside of it, all brown in color. And it also comes with some stickers, a gold marker, and double sided tape dispenser. Overall I’m very happy with this and I can’t wait to start scrapbooking with it! It also comes packaged in a white box so if you want to give it as a gift to someone that’s a nice option.

As a guy, my idea of a scrapbook was just something to stick photos, certificates, and awards in to remember good times. I wasn't thinking about the craft aspect of it, so I was surprised when this book arrived with all these accessories. Honestly, I don't see myself using them, but it certainly does add value to the scrapbook. Perhaps this is the norm when it comes to buying scrapbooks (I wouldn't know, as this is my first), but I'm impressed nonetheless. Very satisfied.

The linen cover is pretty and classic, but the size means you can use standard paper sizes and add / remove pages easily via the 3-ring system. You will need to apply photos directly to the paper and there's no cover for each page. That's exactly what I wanted, but it's important to think through your project needs ahead of time. The black paper looks great with metallic paint-pens or layering colorful papers on top.
