Oh my! As an avid Harry Potter fan I couldn’t resist treating myself to this activity book (yes, I bought it for me, not my kids!). It’s a luscious hardback; very reminiscent of the annuals I used to get for Christmas when I was young.It’s packed with activities for the reader to enjoy, my favourite being the ‘Breaking News’ pages where you get to be a writer for The Daily Prophet and pen a story worthy of the front-page.You can design a potion, draw your own marauder’s map, and write your own magical family tree (complete with muggles). There are also a variety of postcards you can cut out and use, as well as a great selection of full-page posters from the films.I haven’t plucked up the courage to write in my copy yet (eek!) but I’m sure when I do finally ‘conjure’ up my quill and ink I’ll have fun getting creative.This is a beautiful book for any Potter fan and would make a charming gift.

Bei diesem Preis habe ich nicht viel erwartet.Umso überraschter war ich, als ich dieses schöne Buch in den Händen hielt!Es ist zauberhaft gestaltet, das Cover glänzt im tollen Gold und jede Seite möchte man sich lange, staunend angucken.Ich dachte, es gäbe vielleicht ein paar Dinge, die man ausfüllen kann, jedoch ist dieses Buch voll mit Möglichkeiten zur Auslebung der kreativen Ader.Ob man nun eine magische Kreatur selbst entdecken (und aufmalen) , seinen bei Ollivander's gekauften Zauberstab entwerfen soll oder seinen Stundenplan von Hogwarts eintragen kann - auch Muggel haben bei diesem Buch genug Möglichkeiten, ihre eigenen Ideen der magischen Welt hinzuzufügen.Dieses Jahrbuch ist ein Muss für jeden Harry Potter Fan!(Nur Liebhaber von Draco Malfoy werden enttäuscht... es tauchen nur 2 Bilder von ihm im ganzen Buch auf)

9 year old daughter and BFF have both loved this book. They are the type of kids that like to make drawings, and they are obsessed with Harry Potter and friends. Very fun for kids that are way into it. I don't think it would be a good gift to get them interested.
