LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all of SavorSatch spices!! My favorite is the pastrami rub and the steak spice. Fresh, well packaged and delicious! A great way to try different seasonings from this company. Wish they had a guacamole seasoning and a cilantro seasoning! Will absolutely purchase more!!!!

This seasoning sampler is a fantastic addition to any kitchen! The 4 resealable pouches are the perfect size, and the flavor options are bold yet well-balanced, never overwhelming. The Lemon Pepper on chicken was a standout favorite in our house. While I do wish the mixes were MSG-free, the flavors are still delicious and versatile, working well with everything from chicken and beef to seafood and vegetables. A great go-to for adding that extra kick to your meals!

I barbecue year-round and I love trying out different rubs. I have a shelf full of them. For me, this sampler was very much a mixed bag. I did not at all care for the barbecue seasoning or the pastrami rub. They just didn't taste good to me. The lemon pepper, on the other hand, is not bad. It will go well with chicken or fish, and I think I will get some good use from it. The real winner, in my view, was the steak spice. It is heavy on the garlic, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It also has a touch of heat to it, as a good steak rub should (again, in my view). If I were to order again from SavorSatch, that would probably be what I would order. That shouldn't stop you from trying the sampler though, because that's how you find your favorites.

This boxed Gourmet Seasoning & Spice Gift Set would make a nice housewarming gift or present for your favorite grilling enthusiast. The versatile set includes 4-ounce resealable bags of BBQ Seasoning, Steak Seasoning, Lemon Pepper, and Pastrami Rub blends. I tried the steak seasoning blend and thought it was ok, but not my favorite. Note that the blends contain vegetable oil (which could reduce their shelf life) and MSG. Resealing the plastic bags may become difficult when powder gets into the tracks, so I would suggest storing the spices in different containers once opened. Overall, this set would make a good gift and the price is reasonable for the volume of spices included.

The bags were a lot larger than I expected. I was a little leery trying them out seeing as there were no dates, but they smelled pretty fresh and tasty. We gave them a shot. I don't mind the msg, the flavors were pretty good, but not fantastic. These might be better suited for restaurants or people who have a lot of big cookouts because of the quantity and shorter shelf life.

Note that they are packaged in a generic cardboard box instead, which may not be as presentable as the one depicted in the product pictures.These seasoning & spice blends appear to be of high quality and fresh. The are made with natural and clean ingredients. No additives. They are savory and flavorful. I tried the lemon pepper blend on a fillet and it was delicious. The only minor issue I have with these is that they can be a bit hard to dispense evenly. If you have some spare shaker bottles to put these in, these would work great.All in all, I'm pleased wit these assorted seasoning & spice blends. I like that they are well-blended with all-natural and clean ingredients. They work great to elevate the taste of the dishes. I wish they would come in a more presentable box for gifting purposes, since it is advertised as a gift set. Decently priced for a 4-blend set. It's worth giving them a try. Good product.

Overall I have no complaints with these seasonings. You get just what is pictured, 4 different spice mixes in resealable bags. They are decent size mixes so you will get quite a few uses out of each pack. The flavor combos are tasty and seem nice and fresh. I think the price is fair for the amount of product you receive. It would make a nice gift for someone who does a lot of grilling.

This combo box, which includes four distinct spice mixtures, is good. I wish these spice blends didn't contain any oil. The fact that oil becomes rancid easily is a clue that things won't stay very long. In addition, ordinary salt containing iodine is combined with an anti-caking ingredient. These were packaged in zip-top resealable bags. arrived with the four pouches in a package. Eventually, you would probably want to move them to a container. I fried my grilled chicken in the air fryer and tried the lemon pepper seasoning; it turned out really well.
