Fotodiox RB2A 55mm Filter Thread Lens, Macro Reverse Ring Camera Mount Adapter for Nikon

Bought this for my Nikon d5100 slr after reading up about lens reversing for macro photography. Already own a tokina 100 mm macro so was happy enough. Fitted to my camera on manual mode easy enough, had several old lenses kicking about that wouldn’t fit my Nikon and found a carl zeiss 28mm that fit on it. When reversed it magnifies at about 4 power and gives superb macro shots. Even closer than the tokina which wasn’t cheap. Highly recommend this for an alternative to spending loads in a dedicated macro. Just make sure you have lenses that will be of use. I had several old lenses that wouldn’t fit the 55mm thread.

Works but the ring and thread have questionable quality. Used this few times... not sure if I would use it on a regular basis.

does exactly what its supposed to.Helped me convert my 18-55 kit lens on the Nikon D3400 to a macro without any issues.Cons --Metal body-- a pleasant welcome from the plastic kit lens on the D3400. feels solid in hand. not at all flimsy.quality construction -- loved the finesse of construction on this. helps me reverse the 18-55 lens like a charm to make it a macro.ease of fix -- the rings on it fit like a glvoe with the lens and the camera body both. No play whatsoever.I dont think for under 10usd one can go wrong with this product. no brainer. definitely recommended.
